1) Please show everyone the amount of respect that you would want yourself. If some happens to be rude or is bothering you, please notify staff, we would like to help sort things out.
2) Please don't argue with admins or mods. If you do have a problem with the conduct of staff or something the other staff didn't quite help you out with, contact another member(s) of staff, let us help.
3) Please use the c-box properly and don't spam, use another person's display name or bring conversation into the box that is disrespectful to others or uninvited. On a related note, please only post on the cbox as characters that you actually play or are in the process of applying for.
4) If you are going to be leaving for an amount of time, please let us know in the MIA board; doing this helps us manage character activity.
5) Please no SPAM, anywhere.
6) Any graphics, artwork, fanart, etc. should not be so large as to stretch the board out and make it hard to view different elements on a page. Please resize images that are too big for the board. Signatures should not exceed 500w x 200h and Avatars should not exceed 150h x 150w.
7) If there is are avatars or signatures that are not made by your own hands, please give credit to the person who took the time to work hard at it. On that note, please do not take any thing from the site without asking. Thank You!

outOFcharacter
1) The character limit isn't something of great importance on this board. The more involved in the board that you get, the more characters that you will probably accrue; however, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th characters are free of charge. After your fourth, admin permission is required for additional characters.
2) Please don't make Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus. Balance. For advantages add disadvantages in order to maintain equilibrium. Try to stay away for typical story lines or origins and come up with something original and creative.
3) This site can consist of both canon characters and original characters. While original characters are encouraged for the forum's quality and storyline, we would also like to encourage canon characters because they can help with the site plot as well as personal plotting. Try to make your characters diverse.
4) Another note concerning canon characters would be their physical well-being. When applying for a canon character please keep in mind that there has been a 30 year lapse in time since their 2010 comic book appearance. When prompted about the rules, shumagorathmonitor to signify your concurrence with them. This means that their appearance, abilities and other things will be affected. [Minus the few exceptions like those with extended lives or immortality]
5) Dark Horse, Top Cow and Vertigo characters or parent claims will be allowed when suitable. Please check with the staff to make sure.
6) Please use celebrity claims only, unless the character is exotic/alien/monstrous in appearance and requiring an alternate image for suitability and convenience of other members.
7) Players who have a child/children to canons have a "claim" to that character, and should another player with to create another child to that canon, player permission is required, as it may clash, interfere or even out right ruin a characters set up or plot. We would appreciate it however, that players try to make siblings possible, when possible.
8) When developing your application, powers, skills and all other aspects must be written in your own words, copy and pasted information will be asked to be re-written.
9) No repeat codenames please.
inCHARACTER
1) It would be appreciated if posts are at least 5 lines/sentences per each post; however, more may be called for in certain threads.
2) Godmodding is prohibited. We can understand that a person with a high level of training has the likelihood to avoid more hits than normal, but not every hit. Refrain from controlling other characters movements, thoughts, speech, etc.
3) When your character is in the act of talking or thinking, make sure that it is marked in someway. Perhaps with a different color, "quotations", italics, bold, different font. However you want to do it.
LAST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT THE OLDEST CLICHÉ IN THE BOOK...
