Appearance:
Civilian Attire: Charlie generally wears long sleeved under t-shirts with a short sleeved shirt over it, a normal t-shirt with a jacket and jeans, and trainers. On formal occasions, he wears blue or black suits, with white and blue t-shirts and brown, blue or black ties. Occasionally, he will wear a black hoodie, with a dark blue or black t-shirt under it, with jeans and boots.
Personality: Charlie Drake is said to be like his father in many ways, as he can be shy, couragous and even determined. He is also a bit like his mother, as he is quite determined, and strong willed. To keep his secret identity a secret, he has constructed a fake personality to use in his civilian life, which only contains bits and pieces of the real him. In public and other places, Charlie acts shy, acting like he is afraid to look people in the eye or look at them when he talks to them. As well as this, he is quiet, not speaking much unless someone talks to him first. He can be overprotective of his friends at times, showing that he does not want to lose anyone from his life. He also wears glasses in his civilian identity to hide his Red Hawk identity as well. One quirk he has in both personalities is that he is slightly chatty, making remarks to people during a fight.
Charlie's real personality, the one he uses as Red Hawk and towards his closest friends and family, is still overprotective but less so than he is as his civilian guise. However, as Red Hawk, he acts more gruff. He uses a gravelly voice to distinguish his two identities. He is slightly more boisterous and egotistical in his Red Hawk identity, using this trait to appear more dangerous than he is. He is overconfident at times, however. And he cares a lot for his friends, being empathic and understanding towards people, despite his anger and depression. However, he is brooding and angry as well. He saw his mother and father almost die. And ever since then, Charlie has tried to use his anger. To harness it as Red Hawk, and to control it, to make him a better crime fighter.
The anger within Charlie is more of a demon than something to aid him. It is constantly trying to make him commit atrocities that he would never do. And due to this anger demon, Charlie struggles to contain it and conform it into a force of good. He has a high level of control over it though, never giving into this demon he has. One final trait Charlie has is that he is afraid of taking on his father's former mantle of Red Robin, believing he can't live up to it just yet. He is afraid of screwing up as a hero, one reason he hasn't taken on the mantle of Red Robin.

The Hero
Codename: Red Hawk
Hero Attire: Since he has become Red Hawk, a composite of his mother and fathers codenames, he has recreated his costume to suit his new identity. This suit is similar to his first one, but with several differences. His new costume is an almost entirely black bodysuit with short sleeves, but the left pectoral upwards to his neck is crimson. Like his first suit, it has short sleeves, and is made from nomex and kevlar, making it almost entirely bulletproof, fireproof and electrically insulated. Instead of a domino mask, Charles now wears black sunglasses that are just as good as his mask.
In addition to this, Charlie has added a black and red hunting jacket, which has been modified for his costume. This jacket contains retractable wings that come out when the red robin symbol on his jacket is pressed. The symbol is on the right side of the jacket, and it contains microcircuits that are pressure sensitive. He added this symbol to honour his father and to add a small bit of flair to the jacket. A crimson hood covers his head, and it is kept in place through the use of an electric circuit.
In addition, he wears long black fingerless gloves to cover his hands and arms, which contains a holo computer. On his back, Charlie wears a quiver and bow. The bow rests collapsed on his lower back, and the quiver is on the upper portion of his back.
Powers: Healing Factor: Charlie was born with a metagene, which granted him an accelerated healing process that enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human. He can regenerate great damaged or destroyed tissue with few seconds. This means if he was to have the skin on his arm sliced off, he would regenerate the tissue within a few seconds, or half a minute at the least. He heals from bullet wounds, cuts and burns within hours, though small cuts heal within minutes. He heals from broken bones at a normal human rate.
Foreign Chemical Resistance and Immunity to disease: Charlie's natural accelerated healing also affords him the virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs, except in massive doses. He can only get drunk if he drinks an ammount that would be lethal for a normal person.
Peak Human and Superhuman Attributes: Charlie's healing factor has pushed several of his attributes to Superhuman levels, but some are only at peak human levels, due to them coming from his conditiong.
Peak Human Strength: He is one of the strongest non-metas on Earth. He has shown remarkable strength throughout his career. He is able to lift at least 380 lbs with ease, and he can push his muscles to lifting 500 lbs at the moment. His strength comes from a combination of his conditioning and healing factor.
Peak-Human Reflexes: Robin Hood possesses reflexes that have enabled him to dodge point blank gunfire from a single gun.
Peak Human Speed: He has run at speeds greater than the finest competing athletes. His speed comes from his conditioning.
Super-Human Endurance: Robin Hood's endurance is at low superhuman levels because of his healing factor. He can exert himself at his peak for several hours before he reaches exhaustion. His lungs are also enhanced, allowing him to hold his breathe for at least seven minutes.
Peak-Human Agility: Robin Hood's agility is at peak human levels. He is able to perform several acrobatic maneuvers with ease, but he is not on Dick Graysons level. He is more on his fathers level when Tim was 21.
Peak Human Durability: He has been thrown through entire walls made of very sturdy wood and plasterboard, and he immediately rose back up to finish the fight, survived an entire two story building collapsing, has fallen of the top of a three building and has sustained other extreme forms of punishment, and has survived it all without any serious or lasting injuries, partly due to his durability, partly due to his healing factor. His durability comes from his conditioning.
Skills: Genius-Level Intellect: Charlie's high intellect allows him to excel in computer science and more importantly as a skilled detective. Furthermore, Charlie apparently has a firm grasp of assorted scientific techniques including engineering, computer hacking and genetics, but he only knows the theory of genetics. However, Charlie is not quite on his father's level yet, as his skills are not as advanced as his fathers. Charlie was born with a natural Eidetic memory, meaning he can memorize anything, and he has perfect recall, meaning he can remember everything. This allows him to learn quickly as well. His IQ is tested at 189. He has knowledge in computer sciences, biology, physics, chemistry, engineering, and inventing.
Martial Arts: Charlie has mastered several martial arts but his most preferred type of combat is Stick Fighting and Jujitsu, as well as boxing and occasionally brawling techniques and moves, and Escrima techniques. He has incorporated aspects of Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson and his father's fighting styles into his own, as well as others. His skills in Martial Arts are so great that he held his own against Ra's Al Ghul and took down Flag Smasher in combat. However, his father or any other veteran, more experienced member of the Bat-Family could take him down, as they are more skilled in martial arts than he is. However, Charlie has mixed all of these martial arts skills into his own form of combat, using these martial arts into a skillfully blended mix that plays to his strengths.
Skilled Archer and Marksman: Charlie has been trained in Marksmanship and Archery by his parents. His mother taught him how to use a bow and arrow, and both parents taught him marksmanship. He is able to fire 19 arrows within a minute, and fire two arrows at once. However, he rarely does either as it uses up his supply of arrows. To keep his skills honed, he practices 2 hours a day.
Skilled in Stealth: Charlie is skilled in stealth, able to sneak into a few high security places without much difficulty. He is unable to sneak into the Bat-Cave, JLA tower or lexcorp without being detected though.
Multilingual: He is able to speak, read and write English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian and several other languages.
Skilled Staff and Knife Fighter: Charlie has been trained in the use of his fathers bo staff. As well as this, he is able to fight well with a knife if he gets one, and even a makeshift staff. His father could beat him in a Bo-Staff fight, and he he isn't the best with it. He is just skilled in it, but he does not hold mastery over it.
Adept Detective: Charlie has been trained in the arts of being a detective by his father. He is able to solve most mysteries with only a small bit of the data missing. He was rigorously trained by Tim in everything from escapology to criminology, and numerous other combat/non-combat disciplines. However, Charlie is still outclassed as a detective by other members of the Bat-Family.
Adept Tactician and Strategist: Charlie, much like his father is also a brilliant strategist and tactician. But, while he is a good tactician and strategist, he is not the best. He would say he is more of an intermediate one.
Weapons Expert: Due to years of weapon training, Charlie has become proficient with several types of weaponry. He has a preference for the bow and arrow, escrima sticks, the bo-staff and knives.
Parkour: Charlie was taught Parkour by his parents and he uses it to scale the cities rooftops in an acrobatic manner. As well as this, it is his main form of movement when he is not using his wings or chasing someone through the streets. Only on buildings tops does he use this.
Special Equipment: Hawkeye suit: Charlie's Hawkeye suit is lined with a version of the Nomex fire-resistant, triple-weave Kevlar-lined material. It is an excellent protection against damage, and it's also electrically insulated. This suit was made for his fighting style, going towards an archer style that also allows for hand to hand combat when needed. He wears sunglasses that allow him to see into the infrared, x-ray and electromagnetic spectrums.
Equipment in his utility belt: Charlie uses a variety of weapons associated with the Bat-Family. He uses throwing discs {similar to batarangs, but circular and adorned with the Red Robin insignia}, these were also used by previous wearers of the Robin costume. He also uses Gas pellets, Plastic Explosives, Nerve Toxins, Bolas’, Smoke Bombs, Small Evidence Kit, Forensic Analyst Kit, Cutting Tool, Re-Breather.
Bow: Charlie's bow is specially made to suit him. His bow is made of carbon nanofibers designed to reduce the weight of the bow, which means he can run with it without being weighed down. The bow is collapsible as well, meaning it is collapsed into a smaller form. This bow is always kept on his lower back. The quiver rests on his back, and is designed to keep the arrows in even when he performs a front flip. He generally keeps thirty or thirty five arrows with him, which are kept securely in place in his quiver. Unlike his mother or her mentor, he uses a compound bow, even if it is a bit more bulky.
Bo-Staff: Charlie continues to use his fathers Bo-Staff. This staff has small holes on each end, enabling the staff to generate a distractive whistling sound whenever it is put to use. He has found this extremely effective in keeping opponents off guard, allowing him to gain an upper hand in fights where he would otherwise be outnumbered. This staff collapses into a smaller form, that allows him to transport it easier. In this smaller form, it is no bigger than a rolling pin.
Holo-Computer: Charlie's gloves featured a built-in computer system with holographic interface. Although capable of scanning and wireless connectivity where appropriate, USB and TRS connector cables and a USB port are included.
Escrima Sticks: Twin fighting sticks used as close combat weapons. These weapons are something Charlie brought with him to his new identity, and something he used even as his keyboard.
Weaknesses: Lack of left peripheral vision: Due to a training injury he has little no peripheral vision on his left side, meaning he can not see out of the corner of his left eye. This puts him at a disadvantage if he needs to look to his left side. This was an injury that his healing factor could not heal because the nerve had become dead and removed at the time his healing factor kicked in, and his healing factor can't regenerate removed nerves.
Friends and Family: Charlie is protective of his friends and family, and if they are hurt, he will go after the person who has done this and if angry enough, he could kill them.
Human: Despite his healing factor and enhanced attributes, Charlie is still human. He could be killed if he sustained enough damage before his healing factor can heal him, or suffered an injury that his healing factor could not heal.
Overconfidence: At times, Charlie is overconfident in his abilities and will underestimate his opponents. When this happens, he can be at a disadvantage.
Survivors Guilt: Charles has a survivors guilt complex. Whenever he survives something where others were hurt or killed, Charles will become depressed, and manic in his anger for a few weeks. This also leads to him becoming angered if someone slanders the event in question, and insults him.
Most Heroic Achievements: Took down a hidden, intelligence group run by Flag Smasher.
History: Tim Drake and Kate Bishop met when the Young Avengers and Teen Titans came to blows. They fell for each other, and began to work together. For three years, they were together. And then he proposed, which resulted in them marrying four months later. And 11 months after their wedding day, Charlie Timothy Drake was born, a bundle of joy that would make his parents the happiest people around. Kate and Tim had decided that they only wanted one child, and that Charlie would be enough for them.
Charlie's parents were loving and caring towards him, and decided that they would train him in everything they knew, but let him have a normal life as well. From the age of four, Kate also taught Charlie archery. This was because she wanted her son to also be like her, even if he did take after his dad a bit. This allowed them both to train their son in their trades, making him more versatile then the others.
In addition to all of this, he was trained in the use of a knife and Escrima very competently, something he was become very proficient with, also learning parkour to make sure he could use it when he was older. Despite all this training, Charlie had a sort of ordinary life. He had friends he would hang out with, and he occasionally played basketball with his dad, and going shopping with his mother, even if he hates this bit.
By the time he was twelve, Tim took Charlie out as his sidekick, codenamed Red Bird, and he was also put on a diet and training regiment to get him to the peak of human potential. Together, father and son patrolled the City's of Gotham as Red Robin and Red Bird. As Red Bird, Charlie utilized a collapsible bow and Escrima Sticks as well, something he would keep using for the rest of his career. During one night of training, there was small accident. He was hit in the side of his left eye by the staff. The staff caused a severe disability, causing him to lose his peripheral vision in his left eye. However, he was able to keep working as Robin despite his injury, compensating for his lack of left peripheral vision. There were also nights when Kate would join them, Hawkeye, Red Robin and Red Bird working together. They were a happy family of crime fighters, always working in tandem. Tim was still training Charlie, but Charlie was beginning to finish his training. For five years, Charlie was Red Bird. He had managed to go to Gotham University, and graduate at the age of seventeen with a masters degree in engineering.
One day, a few weeks after Charlie had gotten his degree, Ra's Al Ghul attacked the Drakes while they were on patrol. He had been making a plot to attack Tim and his family. This was because Tim had sabotaged many of his plots, and Ra's was finally ready to attack. During this assault, Tim and Kate were knocked out. This caused Charlie to lose his temper and composure, and he attacked Ra's. Even though he held his own for a short time, Ra's stabbed Charlie in the gut. But, Charlie returned the favour by stabbing the centuries old mad man in the shoulder. And this was when Charlie's hidden metagene finally activated, which had not done before as he had not suffered a too lethal injury. After removing the knife, Charlie was a bit confused to see his wound heal rapidly. Tim and Kate both returned to consciousness and attacked Ra's, knocking him out.
After this, Charlie left the Red Bird identity, and took on his own identity as “Robin Hood.” Within a few weeks of discovering his metagene, several physical attributes of his were pushed to low superhuman levels. Three years would pass, where Charlie proved himself as a hero and his fathers equal when Tim was his age. His biggest achievement was when he hunted and destroyed a hidden intelligence agency ran by a terrorist supervillain called Flag Smasher. Even though he had been captured and tortured during the final take down, Robin Hood was able to put a stop to Flag Smashers group and defeat the man in single combat, as Flag Smsher had been a skilled combatant.
After this, Charlie discovered his father was retiring from active heroing, instead becoming trainer for new and inexperienced heroes of the JLA. However, Charlie did not take on the Red Robin identity because he feels he is not ready for it, and he is afraid to take on the mantle just yet, instead continuing to be Robin hood. Now, a year has passed. Charlie has become a member of the Justice League of Avengers, and he is a dedicated member as Robin Hood. Outside of this, Charlie had become an engineer at Wayne Enterprises. One thing he has also discovered is that people tend to underestimate his skills, meaning that when he shows his true abilities, he has the advantage as they weren't expecting him to be this skilled.
Charlie has been through a number of things, becoming paralyzed for a while. However, this allowed him to become even more skilled in hand-to-hand combat and archery. Deciding it was time he gave up the Robin Hood identity, he created a new identity which is a composite of his father and mothers codenames: he became the Red Hawk, changing his costume as well.
