Business as usual for Vincent Howard Stark in the past seven months was as hectic as she could possibly stand. Between Rebuilding Stark Towers to moving and upgrading the base of operations for the JLA to the space station now orbiting earth, keeping up with production rates, ivestment portfolios and now checking in with the Titans in San Fansisco.
It was a nice break to be in sunny San Fransisco or 'The City' as it's west coast denizens called it it was in the mid sixties and Vincent was able to get by with just a light cardigan and a pair of jeans. It was a bit informal for her official capacity today but that was sort of the point, she was here to see how some of the more 'alien' members of the Titans were intergrating into human society and she started with the actual Alien of the group. Barda Boltagon.
Sending a text to Octavius reading Won't be home tonight, staying in San Fran. Don't get too bored with out me. She then tucked her phone away into her cardigan pocket and waited for Miss Boltagon to arrive to the small cafe where she'd be instructed to meet Vincent. Vinent had already sat down and ordered a coffee and a paper to start out her early afternoon of interviewing Titans.

Today, Barda Boltagon was meeting Vincent Stark. It was bit of a change, Black Barda had met Iron (Wo)man several times, but meeting in their civilian guises was a very different thing. That being said....they weren't exactly secret identities. Vincent Stark was known to be Iron (Wo)man and there was only so many girls that were six foot eleven and named Barda's that might be the true identity of Black Barda. Sometimes she wore glasses and tinted contact lenses just to fuck with people.
When she arrived she was dressed a touch more formal than Vincent, with her pencil skirt and blouse. When she approached the meeting spot she started to scan for Ms. Stark, a broad smile appearing on her face and a wave once she spotted her. "Hey Stark!" No sooner was she about to sit down when someone approached to take her order, to which she asked for a white mocha.
"Really great to finally meet you, outside of armour that is." Barda didn't wear power armour, but she did wear armour. The same kind as her mother in fact, albeit with her own colour scheme. Had to be distinctive, step out of the parents shadow. It was the whole point of her Earth!

"Yes Barda is very nice to see you outside of armor." Vincent said standing up from her chair and shaking the girls hand. She then motioned to one the chairs for Barda to sit. Vincent had chosen this spot not only for it's sunny terrace but because the large over stuffed chairs may be more comfortable for a girl of Barda's size. With her leg length it must have been awkward going to restaurants some times.
"Well, why do you tell me about about how the Titans are getting along." Vincent took another sip of her coffee while she waited for the girl to speak. It was a nice day and she wasn't in any real hury. Barda was free to speak as she liked and she probably knew by now that Vincent would be assessing her. Even if Vincent wasn't all the Titans thought any one from the JLA was assessing them when they stopped by for a surprise visit.

Barda took the offered hand in her own and shook firmly before sitting down comfortably. San Fran was so good for accommodating for everyone. It must have started when the X-men and mutants moved up this direction and were welcomed with such open arms. Since the re-growth of the mutant population it had been a keen place.
"Everything's going super great, good people." One minute they were all bullying Pete for scaring them, then they were jumping into action and had each others backs. It was a rare kind of unity. Living together created tension sometimes, sure. But when push came to shove, when Titans needed each other, those tensions were just disintegrated.

"That's good to hear, I'm glad you're getting along well with the other Titans." Vincent said making a mental note- which was probably taking an actual note on her pda in her purse. "Is there anything about the Titans you feel needs to change? Any thing you would like to see happen in the year ahead of us?" These sort of conversations were certainly needed, rederection was always good when things grew stale, and if one had a winning combo one should learn how to make it into winning capital. In that case of the Titans that was crime number dropping.
The tall- albiet not as tall as the girl before her- woman set her coffee down on top of the folded news paper and meshed her fingers resting her elbows on the arm rests of her own chair. It was comfortable here and all though there was a breeze it made for a wonderful day. Perhaps some time she'd bring Octavius here when she wasn't visiting on an official capacity.

"Oh yeah, we're practically family." and it was true, she had bonded with them so much, of course she had been living with them for close to two years now. The other girls were like her little sisters and the guys were like....well they were all like her little sisters.
Right before she continued, her drink arrived. Taking up the mug she sipped gently, it was good. Could do with a little sugar perhaps. "Do differently? I don't know. I hadn't really thought about it." was there anything she'd want different in the Young Titan tower? She could give it some thought perhaps but really why would she change anything? She lived and fought with her finest friends, and the guys too.

Another mental note taken. "And how about you Barda, how are you coping?" Needless to say it'd been a while since the girl was on Earth but some of the bigger events of the past year were traumatic enough to revert even some who had been on earth for a long time. "The Titans had a big year, it was beleived that you had lost a member and I'm sure that's been hard on the team. Not to mention on those of you in the team that may not grieve the same way your human team mates might."
It had been brought to the JLA's attention that Annelies Grayson herself might have even just forgotten about the deceased team mate all together. Well, that would have to be addressed in her own meeting, for now this one was about Barda.
