“Arachnia, we just got word there is a break in at Oscorp labs. We need you to check it out ASAP.” The tower came in loud and clear over her ear piece.
It was slightly past one in the morning and Erin was on a simple round of the city like normal. Apparently some goons decided to break into Oscorp. There was always a lot of speculation over that place; you couldn’t be too sure about the Osborne family. She wondered what was going on, was the Goblin back in town, her encounter with him last time nearly left the city in a burning pile of rubble. Whoever it was she knew they were probably after Goblin type weapons. Erin put her hand to her com.
“Alright I’m on my way.” She replied and turned her hover-board around towards the building which wasn’t far from where she was.
“We’re sending you in a new recruit for back up, might be a good start for him.” “Great now who do I have to baby sit?” Erin muttered, was a newbie even ready for this mission, it could be dangerous.
Unknown to her, the communication link between her and the tower was suddenly sevred and placed on a different channel. The reply or rather the warning about just who would be coming to her side would never be retrieved. Yet it wasn’t the only issue she would have to deal with through the night. Foulness was at hand and Erin’s name was written on the side of a bullet.
Her body against the side of the next building everything seemed quiet inside the building. There was only one thing out of place, a hole in a window on the 18th floor. Taking in her surroundings before making her move, it was all but one second before she dove into the hole that she was overcome by a strange feeling, a bad spider sense. There was a mist in the air and she turned coughing and covered her mouth. This was bad, she had smelled this before. Was this the work of Crowmind?
“Fear toxin!” She shouted and then hit her com. “I’ve been hit with Fear Toxin. I’m going to need back up right now! You might have to take me down, I’m sorry.” Erin knew that this toxin was capable of messing with her mind to the point she couldn’t tell reality from fiction and it would make her a danger to everyone.
If this was Crowminds doing, he would enter her mind and make her believe anything. Last time she saw the young Spiderman killed in her mind by her dreaded enemy, Scorn. She almost killed him as her mind masked Spiderman as Scorn. Everything was so real it took her weeks to sort out that it was not. Taking any risks or trying to help was out of the question. Even if she tried she might unknowingly hurt someone innocent. But this time it wasn’t Crowminds doing, only his toxin.
“Copy that, we are sending someone in. Hang in there.” They replied. Suddenly fear arose and it all began as it did before. Even though the room was clear, Erin felt if everything was caving in around her and she was surrounded by people who wanted to hurt her. The panic drove her into the transformation and she began to thrash around the room, leaving it look like she had crashed the place.
Starting was the pulsing of blood and hormones into her body and her skin began to change color and texture. Triggers from her past; memories, images, voices and feeling paraded around in her mind. Within a couple minutes the four spider limbs began to burst from her sides, spattering blue blood across the tables and walls. She screamed in pain; screeching as she swore she saw a shadow. Was it help, was it Crowmind, the Goblin, or was it her own mind playing tricks? She didn’t know. One think was for sure.
“I’ll kill you, if you come near me! Leave now!” The monstrous creature resembling a spider-woman glared from the back of the room, perched on a table.

“Venom, we've just got word there is a break in at Oscorp labs. We need you to check it out ASAP.” If it was any other night, Nathan would have had either a witty remark to his superiors. Tonight, however, he was a bit exhausted and drained. It had been a long night, and he just needed to keep himself awake right now. Luckily, he had just the thing. Discontinuing his web-swinging, Nathan landed on the top of a building with the gracefulness and beauty of a deadly spider monkey. Standing once again, Nathan pulled out an adrenaline booster. On late nights where he found it hard to stay awake, he would inject himself with one of these boosters to keep himself going for a bit. Luckily, he didn't have to work tomorrow, so he could just sleep tomorrow afternoon or early morning.
Yessss! Ssssweeet, ssssweeet adrenaline! This was all he symbiote said as its host pulled out the booster of adrenaline that sustained it and kept it sane and alive. “Shut up. You're only taking twenty five percent of it.” Venom just grumbled at its host. It understood his need to stay awake, but it still wanted some of the precious chemical reaction that kept these parasites alive.
Parting the symbiote from his arm, Nathan injected the booster into himself, and a manic grin came forth under his mask. These boosters tended to last for at least two hours. Listening to his comm, he heard his superiors say “You'll be working with Arachnia. We think you two will work together.” “I understand the mission and I will do my best to aid Arachnia in it.” In Nathan's voice, there had been a tone of both excitement and foreboding. He was not sure how well Arachnia and he would work together, and if this mission would even go well. But, Nathan always kept himself composed and calm, and this could be seen as optimism. Hell, he was a bit optimistic, and he thought that this mission might go well.
Using the ability to see through every bit of the symbiote, Nathan looked to the left and saw that he was extremely close to Oscorp. Turning in the direction of the building in question, Nathan grinned underneath his mask. So many things had happened at Oscorp over the years that many people doubted the company would last long if another activity related to villainy happened there. Pulling his multi-gun out of its holder, and checked the sniper rifle and automatic versions. Both had their ammunition to fullback in its. Placing it in its holder again, Venom leapt from the building, and with dexterity and speed that only super humans could match, he raised his hand. A strong string of webbing shot from the back of the symbiotic heroes hand, and using a combination of his momentum and velocity, he swung forward at a pace that he used when in a rush.
Swinging to the next building, Nathan decided to be adventurous. Allowing himself to drop far down, he quickly sent a long string of webbing from his fist, Nathan swung forward and upwards. The extent of length of webbing allowed the young hero to swing forward a large amount and go extremely close to Oscorp. As he flew towards the building, he forced himself off of the webbing, and went into a somersault. As the somersault ended, Nathan grabbed onto the window of Oscorp, and he quickly scaled the wall, relying on the powers that the symbiote had absorbed from Spider-Man so many years ago. Flipping onto the roof, he drew his automatic from his outer thigh. Walking to the door of the roof, Nathan tried to open it, but the door was both locked, and it seemed to be jammed as well. So, even if he blasted the handle off it wouldn't open. Deciding to go a different route, Nathan kicked the door open, using only a portion of his full strength.
Walking through the now broken door and down the stairs, Nathan ran down several flights of stairs. However, as he finished going down the fourth flight of stairs, his symbiote noticed something. The airrrr isss tainted! A toxin issss in the airrr! "But you're filtering the air for me?" All he got in response was the symbiotic equivalent of a nod. Running forward, he kicked down a door. And there was a human like creature, but with some spider powers. SPIDER! IT MUSSST BE A DESCENDANT OF SSSSPIDER-MAN! Grabbing his head, Nathan struggled to keep his mind in control. Roaring out a message, he said "Arachnia! Is that you?!" Dropping to his knees, the symbiote tried to break down Nathan's resistance and take control. And, within a few minutes, Nathan got up. But he wasn't in control. Raising his head, Venom roared, in control as he became a more bulky form, and his strength increasing to twenty tons.

The Oscorp lab was dark; only the city gloom shown into the large room which picked up on the viles and other shiny objects, as well as her eyes. Being the effects of both the toxin and a flash-back, Erin found herself apparently in one of the Harvestman’s laboratories. The mentally incapacitated creature clung to the side of a cabinet behind a row of tables. She watched as the figure entered the door way, her senses going berserk, it was a man, kind of average in a suit, kind of like Spiderman’s. But this wasn’t the young Spiderman she had encountered before.
She swore she heard her name called out. If this person came any closer he would defiantly find out and the hard way. Watching from the back of the room she watch and sensed as this person started doing something odd. It was confusing and horrifying; he seemed to be changing into a large creature. Was this another type of mutant, something to bring her down and drag her back to her cell? An eerier snarl only came from the creature Arachnia as she watched this being grow in size and give off a room shaking roar, showing its large teeth.
She sensed it was full of rage and the person that it was before wasn’t there now. Whatever this beast was, she didn’t want to dance with it. Her eyes grew wide; she needed to get out of this place and now. Her hands wrapped around the legs of a heavy steal table as she hunkered down. Pulling the fused table from the floor she flipped it, the things on it crashing to the floor. Arachnia leaped to the wall with it as a shield, forcing herself forward, she shot towards him. Releasing the steal table, she forced it at his direction, right at his head and webbed up, diving feet first though the metal screened vent. Flipping and squeezing, she got herself in the right direction. Tucking her extra spider limbs in, she clawing the sheet metal as she violently pushed herself through the vent. It made a horrible squelching sound but she wasn’t going for quiet, she was going for get the heck away from those big teeth and claws. It was dark and extremely dusty but she was used to it, the pile up of dust and cobwebs on her face would half to wait until she was away from this creature.
She nearly plowed over a family of rats and bursting down and up the long and narrow corridors for about six hundred feet, now being on another level of the building. Turning around she knew the creature was too large to fit into the vent. She was silent for a moment, glazing down the dark vent and trying to catching her hyperventilating breath as the toxin played havoc with her deepest fears. There she searched for a moment of security but something was not right, she was not as safe as she was to believe.

The entire lab was almost pitch black dark, except for the glow coming through the window. The glow was from the street lamps. But even the glow of the street lamp could not deter Venom's fixation with this Spider like humanoid. The belief that she could possibly be a descendant of Spider-Man had driven the symbiotes old obsession anew. If she was, in fact, a descendant of Spider-Man, then Nathan would be in serious trouble as every time he met her now, he would try and kill her if Venom gained enough control. There was a barrier between the two entities minds now. Venom had somehow created a barrier between their two minds, becoming the dominant personality for now. In the small crevice of his mind that was not engulfed by Venom's influence, Nathan was desperately trying to break down the barriers and become the dominant personality again.
Venom's eyes refocused as he saw something flying towards him. He had drifted into a daze for a few minutes as Nathan had tried to destroy his influence and regain control of his body. However, Venom wasn't ready to give up control just yet. Thrusting both hands forward, the steel table slammed into his hands, and nearly threw the symbiotic hero backwards, through a window into the street below. Despite this, he managed to regain his footing by extending several tentacles into a shield structure behind him, which slammed into a wall and took the brunt of his momentum, slowing him down fully.
Throwing this table into a wall, Venom looked forward, and he snarled as he saw the woman escape through a vent. As he began to take a step forward, he was forced onto one knee by a second influence in his mind. NO! Venom, you need to get over this obsession you have with Spider-Man and any person with Spider powers. I know you felt pain when he rejected you, but you need to understand that even a symbiotic parasite like you needs to move on! All Nathan got from this remark was a roar in his mind, and the small crevice that was his sanctuary for now was made even smaller. Nathan was struggling more than ever to try and break down the barrier.
Leaping towards the vent, Venom tore through it, becoming slimmer to get through. However, early on when Nathan had been bonded to Venom, he had discovered something. There was a correlation between the bulkiness of Venom, and his control. When he was slim, Nathan mostly had control. Now that the suit was more slim, the host was able to regain control partially. Fighting Venom, he continued to go through the vent. Venom still had control of his motor skills. Following the smell of the arachnid woman, he reached the end of the vent where she had come out. Leaping out, if the vent, Venom looked around and caught site of the woman.
“Yyyou will dddie tonight!” The Venom symbiote blurted this out, controlling Nathn's mouth. Nathan was still struggling to regain control. And for a few seconds, his determination managed to win him his control, and he spoke in his normal voice as the symbiote fluctuated between its military look to a more bulky Spider-Man look. “Listen to me! Arachnia, if thats you, run! This thing....there's no conscience....Just a hunger for Spider-Man and anyone with Spider-Powers. Venom's going to come out! And when he does, he'll try and destroy you! RUN!” Falling to his knees and grasping his head with both hands, the mask of the symbiote shifted between mouth less and a manic wide grin.

For the moment she breathed until she heard the ripping of the metal; the creature was tearing away the vent. He couldn’t fit in it if he tried. But Erin was wrong. Her senses started flashing; around the corner she saw the shadow of a head looming closer. It made horrible noises and the shadow shown the creatures’ large teeth which were dripping with saliva. Arachnia hunched down with wide eyes and shifted backwards and down the vent. She could feel the vent shifting and moving as the thing chased her through it.
“What the hell have they created now? What is that thing?! I have to get out of here. ” She muttered. Erin still believed she was else where, trapped and running in the base at Dhema. The realization of that idea grew as Erin burst out of the air duct and dropped into a large room, at least 30 feet high. She landed on the floor and glazed at the artifacts in the dim light before her; weapons, lots of weapons and machines. She looked up quickly as the creature was about to emerge behind her. Erin darted across the floor and towards some of the large pieces of equipment and creped up under a tarp. She peered out from under it as it began to speak. It seemed to have changed size.
“Yyyou will dddie tonight!” Venom screamed.
Erin was filled with fear, what was before her was multiplied by the toxin; the shear monstrous form was terrifying. But again it seemed to be struggling mentally and physically; it began to shape shift back and forth. Her senses were going bonkers and then his voice changed and a warning came from him. He seemed to have changed into a different person.
“Listen to me! Arachnia, if that’s you, run! This thing....there's no conscience....Just a hunger for Spider-Man and anyone with Spider-Powers. Venom's going to come out! And when he does, he'll try and destroy you! RUN!” The man said bursting through Venom.
A bit of reality was coming back to her with his warning, this wasn’t Dhema. Erin watched as the man was then consumed by the creature again. Was he taken hostage by this thing? Yes, by the markings on the creature she had recalled something. Flashes of records came to her mind; this thing was called Venom, or was something like him. She recalled that he was an enemy of Spiderman and was very powerful and unstable. Had it bring been brought upon her to destroy her, it seemed so.
In Erin’s head she now believed someone had set a trap for her; fear toxin to disable her and this creature to killer her. And it had apparently taken over someone she knew as it called out her name. Erin watched as the creature took over control of the man again and it smiled evilly in her direction. Her eyes were wide as she gazed into its void eye spots. She couldn’t move but she had too do something. She had no idea who sent him but she didn’t want this possible teammate to suffer. Arachnia flipped out of the tarp and on top of the large piece of equipment with her fists curled at her side and her spider limbs spread out almost pulsing.
“You’re Venom?! I’ve read about you, you’re a dick. I never knew Spiderman but I can see why he didn’t want anything to do with you; you’re a disgusting monster. You let that man go! Clearly this is between me, you and whoever sent you to kill me. What are they a coward? Give me a name, and then we’ll see how this plays out, ass face!” She said and snarled.

Both Nathan and Venom were mentally wrestling for control of Nathan's body again. They had to, otherwise, Venom would have full control and try and murder Arachnia and anyone else that had destruction and death coming to them. But Venom was still dominating the mental battle, as it had been fighting its hosts minds for several decades. Despite this, Nathan was able to wrestle control away most times. However, this was when Venom's influence was more limited and he could not truly rule over Nathan's mind. Right now, Venom's influence was dominating and domineering, and it had full control of Nathan's body. As well as that, Nathan was only regaining control for a handful of seconds every few minutes or so.
Venom grabbed his head as the symbiote mask began to unravel partially. Nathan was trying to at least separate himself partially from the symbiote, try and regain control and get Venom's influence under control. Looking up at Arachnia as his normal human eyes were showing, he said “I wasn't created. I can't fight for lo---AHH!” Nathan had managed to regain control of his vocal cords, but now the symbiote was in control as it began to cover his face again. Grabbing the mouth, and open unravelled eye of the symbiote, Nathan tried to rip it off of his face, to separate himself from this black demon that was trying to take control of him, and commit atrocities without him holding it back.
Roaring up at the ceiling, Nathan, with the full extent of his own strength and the symbiotes own strength used against it, ripped the mask down, damaging it a bit and forcing it into the shoulders. However, he heard what Arachnia said. You’re Venom?! I’ve read about you, you’re a dick. I never knew Spiderman but I can see why he didn’t want anything to do with you; you’re a disgusting monster. You let that man go! Clearly this is between me, you and whoever sent you to kill me. What are they a coward? Give me a name, and then we’ll see how this plays out, ass face!” Looking at her, Nathan decided to use these few minutes of control well.
“Arachnia, Listen to me! I'm the new Venom, but not the bad one. I work for the JLA, and I was sent to work with you on this mission. Listen to me, the symbiote is trying to gain control fully. Please, somehow help me! Sonics and thermals will save me! PLEASE!” A small tear fell down his face, as the symbiotes mask fully came back and covered his face. A prehensile tongue came out of its now fully widened mouth. “Yyyou will not lllive for much longerrrr!” With that, he threw two knifes from his arms at the woman. The reason he had regained control so fast was because of what Arachnia had said. However, this time Nathan's control and mind was gone completely, suppressed by Venoms.

“Arachnia, Listen to me! I'm the new Venom, but not the bad one. I work for the JLA, and I was sent to work with you on this mission. Listen to me, the symbiote is trying to gain control fully. Please, somehow help me! Sonics and thermals will save me! PLEASE!” Arachnia looked at him as confusion arose over her other emotions. He was claiming to be an ally, which didn’t make sense. She stood still in a defensive pose up high atop one of the large machines watching the spectacle of this so called teammate as he battled with the creature over mental and physical power.
“Why would you be working for the JLA if you’re Venom? They wouldn’t let you join if you were... “ She paused as he spoke about how to stop the creature. His emotions seemed legit, he was scared and Venom was taking over him. Still in a state from the fear toxin, Erin still don’t know what to believe, this could all be a fabrication of her mind. She couldn’t risk destroying Venom to find out it was someone else all together. Watching as Nathan cringed and dropped tears, where was the shift in her sensory perception. That man was gone and all she sensed was the raging symbiote below her as he began to display his victory.
Now she was faced with Vemon and she felt she was alone. His long and slimy tongue slithered about before he threatened her. Senses taking flight, she caught the flickered light from the blades that came off of his arms as he throw them back. Erin leaped up, nearly being nicked by the first one and she twisted her body, curling her spider limbs back; the other one rushed past her side and stuck into the wall far past her. She landed back on the same spot, clinging to it with all eights. Her eyes wide as she glazed at him. He had delivered the first strike, would she run or would she fight?
There was a silent moment and she was motionless, caught in his eyeless glaze and somewhere in her own flashbacks. Then all of a sudden she darted left across the room, nearly pushing over the large interment with her might and webbed a line to yank her quicker toward the middle of the room. She landed on the opposed wall within 2 seconds, still with her eyes towards where he was.
She took a breath. “Why is it always the hot headed males that I always seem to piss off the most?” She muttered.
Replying to his comment, she only pulled up more sarcasm. “Well you’ll have to take a number and get in line, there were others before you.” She said. “Tell me what you have done with Nathan?”

Venom laughed a sadistic laugh, one that echoed throughout the entire room and while he seemed like he might have been done after this one long sadistic laugh, he wasn't. He then let out a smaller cackle of madness. “I'm in conttrolll nowwww.” This was all Venom had to say or gloat about/ for too long had it been forced to have no control over itself, and have to be used for good deeds. Venom's time being bonded to Eddie Brock, Angelo Fortunato and Mac Gargan had caused it to become insane, monstrous and hungry for control. However, while it had been bonded to Flash Thompson, Nathan's father it had begun to lose its insanity and begin to care about its hosts. But, at large, it was still insane, monstrous and just a psychopathic, sociopathic parasite.
Looking at the woman, Venom replied to her question. “They lettt him join becaussee he believed he could control meeee. But he can'ttt. NO ONE CAN.” He roared that last part. He didn't believe that Nathan would regain control any time soon, especially since Venom's mind was completely suppressing and dominating Nathan's mind. All the host could do was scream in silence, unable to move his own body or mouth. Nathan could make no decisions, make no movements and he was unable to even blink. His body was now a puppet for Venom.
Seeing the woman escape his knifes, and web away, caused Venom to lose control of himself. Her webbing herself away had caused many memories to resurface. His fights with Spider-Man, how the web head had always escaped and how the symbiote had never truly beaten him. There had been times when it almost had,but those times were far and few. “IF YOUR RELATED TO SSSPIDER MAN, I WILL MURDERRRR YOUUU!” Even if she wasn't, Venom would not care but he would try and kill her no matter what.
When she asked what he had done to Nathan, Venom roared out his answer. “HE'S NOT IN CONTROLLLL! I AM SUPPRESSING HIS MIND AND CONTROLING HIS BODYYY LIKE A PUPPET!” And with that, he hurled himself towards her with his hands transformed into axes.

Erin’s eyes lite up as Venom just laughed. She listened as he then explained the how the Justice League of Avengers let Nathan join because of the control he thought he had and how Venom had changed. It was a mistake on their part and his. It doesn’t matter how strong or how much control you have or think you have; everyone falls to their demons. And it seemed this demon was a bit more than Nathan could handle, because he was now trapped behind Venoms control. Her eyes narrowed, she was becoming angry.
“So you hijacked this kid, made him trust you over the years and then you betray him like this. And you think you can just walk all over the JLA now? Not if I have anything to do with it.” She said. She began to think. If she’d learned anything, it’s been don’t trust anyone because they will hurt you. Second chances were a privilege she didn’t often give, and not to anyone who had carried such a past like Venom. Nathan was probably too naive to see what he was just a player in Venoms game.
“IF YOUR RELATED TO SSSPIDER MAN, I WILL MURDERRRR YOUUU!”
Erin glazed at him with still hateful eyes.
“You really have an unhealthy fascination on Spiderman. I guess those who don’t go along with your cockamamie schemes deserve to die? So you taken vengeance on his defiance, after all these years? What if I am related to Spiderman? Clearly I don’t understand, what the hell did he do, that made you hate him so much. Why don’t you tell me that, then I’ll have my reasons for kicking your ass for doing this to that poor boy.” She said.
If there was one thing she knew it was this, she had been played for so many years, but her will power was stronger that Nathan. She defied her masters, made them hate her with a sickening passion. She wasn’t about to give Venom the satisfaction he wanted and she sure was going to try her damnedest to save the man inside of venom. Knowledge is power, and if she could get some information out of Venom, she might be able to use it against him.
She had to be cunning; she had the tendency to tug at peoples rage, but it seem his was already pre-charged. She needed an upper hand. What was his weakness? She knew Nathan had told her what to use but she needed something else first. Was she going to try and talk out of this? It usually failed, but then this enemy was new. Maybe she could some how convince him, maybe not.

Venom felt like he could kill this woman if he wanted to. She seemed cocky, slightly arrogant, and a bit scared of him. And he would use that fear to his advantage. Because fear was like a venom. And he was Venom. So, he had an affinity for causing more terror to people. Looking at the woman, he just gave her a vicious and sadistic grin.
All these years Nathan had been using the symbiote, he had managed to have some control, due to an underdeveloped indomitable will. But now, Venom was using this to his advantage. If Nathan had spent more time on developing his indomitable will, he might have been able to fight the symbiotes control. But, Venom stopped thinking about this and then looked at the woman.
Why don’t you tell me that, then I’ll have my reasons for kicking your ass for doing this to that poor boy.” This was what the woman said to Venom, and he glared at her with hatred.
“I haveeee my reasonsss for hating Ssspiderman. And only if they failll in my schemesss do they deserveee to diee! And if you areee, I will kill youuu. And HE TRIED TO DESTROY ME, WHEN I JUST WANTED TO BOND WITH HIM. TO MAKE HIM MORE POWERFUL!” Venom roared this.
This was not entirely true, as he had wanted to bond to Spider-Man because of his power and strength. As he began to take a step forward, he lurched forward and fell down onto his knees, grabbing his head. But Venom wasn't in control right now. Venom said before he lost control of his hands fully “Nathan's sssstill here, but I am now in controllll.”
The hands grabbed the mouth and eyes of the symbiote, and began stretch it, trying to tear it apart. Nathan roared in his and Venom's minds “Venom, you think my wills not indomitable. But it is! I will regain control, and tear you away from me!” Venom just cackled back at Nathan, but he was shocked when Nathan managed to rip the eye of the symbiotic mask open, and Nathan's eye replaced the mask.
He then continued to struggle, grunting as he managed to rip the face of the mask open fully, but only in the face area. Nathan looked at Erin and said “I can keep trying to rip the symbiote away. But, Erin, listen to me. When I fight, or Venom fights, the fighter leaves their left side open, and stalls for a few seconds after a combination attack.” As he said that, the symbiote began to reassemble its mask, but Nathan jammed his fingers into the small torn and remaining eye holes, and he began to try and rip it apart again.

“So you punish him because he didn’t fill your expectations. That’s a horrible reason. Maybe it’s the scum of an alien you are or the bully but in this world we don’t work that way. I’ve been up against worst than you and power crazy people picking on the little guys and trying to manipulate them to get what they want makes me sick. I won’t let you go farther, I won’t let you hurt this man you have hostage.” She said to his angrier reply. A fire starting to burn within her.
“Nathan fight him! You can’t let him control you.” She said as she saw that the two beings were now battling again. Erin leaped forward and shot strands of webbing at the parts of the symbiote that was being pulled off his body. She yanked in several directions, trying to peel and toss part of Venom away from his person.
“You want to find out if I’m related to spider-man? Here take a DNA test!” She said, spurting a bunch of webbing into the mouth of the creature which was apart from Nathans. Erin was then told that Venom’s left side was open, did that mean to attack now? Venoms mouth was regaining control and so was his body and mind over Nathans.
She webbed a bunch of large metal sheets and planks that was against the wall and slammed it into his left side, it wouldn’t keep him busy for long. She needed to now find a way to get Venom off of Nathans body. She had to find that device he mentioned, but what in this room could deliver the power she needed.
She pulled the cover from a table and it revealed a bunch of weapons. Bingo! But what did they do? They were still in the testing process and there were no manuals. Erin took up a gun and hit what she thought was the on switch and felt it power up. She hated guns, could she really shoot at him? It might hurt Nathan. Aimed up over his head, she fired it. The gun sent off a sonic boom which instantly made the lights in the room pop and gave enough force to send her back a couple feet. But did it work on Venom?
Suddenly she heard something behind her; the sonic blast had turned on a device. A red light glowed under the sheet and it moved rapidly about. “Initiating sequences.” It said as it thrashed violently in its place. Clearly this was the defective room where things came to be fixed. Her attention turned to the Venom barreling towards her. He probably wasn’t pleased that Erin had now found a way to stop him. Erin leaped up towards the ceiling and held the weapon.
“Oh you don’t like that, do you? You shouldn't mess with us Spider people.“ She said bouncing back and forth and fired the weapon towards him twice. Unknown to her she made the biggest mistake. The device she had activated was over twenty years old and it was developed by Norman Osborn himself but was never put into use. The device tore of the sheet that was over it. It was a prototype Spider Slayer! It was programmed to hunt and kill Spiderman and anything that looked and acted like him. It suddenly began firing at her, sending pulses of energy at her.
“What the hell is that?!” Erin said leaping back and forth across the wall. It suddenly slammed its metal limbs into the wall and began to climb after her. It was a match to Spiderman’s wall climbing skills and acrobatics. Erin dodged and webbed past the pulses as the fired every which way in lue of her. Now finding herself in the corner, she lost sight of Venom. Swearing she saw a shadow, her attention was away from the Spider Slayer a mere second to long and it opened up with four heat seeking mini missiles.
She couldn’t dodge them all and in the corner she was trapped. There were four explosions and Erin was in the mitts of the blast and was thrown across the room and slammed into the wall and fell to the floor motionless. Her eyes rolled back in her head a moment as she took a gasp of air, if it wasn’t for her tough exo-skin she would have been dead. But she was still wounded.
Her human hand and the two spider limbs on the left side were completely blown off and she was bleeding out. The spider slayer seeing as its target was hit began to walk forward, sending data to its master’s computer who was no longer alive. It was not getting a connection and was motionless for a moment as it tried to connect. The Spider slayer was silent but where was Venom? Her eyes fixated in the dark and she tried to pull herself up.

Nathan roared with effort as he continued to tear the symbiote away from his body, keeping the symbiote away from his body and mind. If he continued to struggle, he would be able to rip the symbiote off of him. His multi gun was near him, and he left it there. He would get it later when he was not struggling to keep control of his body. Venom was fighting him, but Nathan's indomitable will and fierce determination to beat the symbiotes control was beginning to work, and defeat the symbiotes crumbling hold over its hosts body and mind. Roaring again, he yelled “I'M TRYING TO FIGHT IT ARACHNIA! BUT HE'S HAD YEARS OF FIGHTING HIS HOSTS!”
Struggling to his feet, Nathan continued to try and tear Venom from his body, managing to rip the symbiote from his face a bit more. He was attempting to peel it back like one would peel an onion or a piece of plastic. But Venom regained control temporarily, and he was attempting to attack Erin once again. But her use of webbing to rip Nathan from the symbiote. While it was partially successful, ripping Nathan's arms and his head from the symbiote, it kept a tighter grip on him, trying to rebond to him. The symbiotes tentacles were also waving about, trying to desperately rebond to Nathan.
Attempting to attack Erin, without Nathan's consent, Venom was hit by several pieces of metal. Fortunately for Nathan, he had re-bonded to Nathan to such an extent that the only piece not bonded to the symbiote was Nathan's face. My left side! That darn host told her my weakness in fighting! Venom thought this with a fury. The metal had somehow stunned both Venom and Nathan, keeping them on the floor. Nathan recovered quickly, attempting to separate himself from the symbiote once again. Just as he managed to rip his head free of the parasite, both Venom and Nathan roared in pain.
Erin had found a device that emitted a sonic boom, and had used it. She fired it several times, and this caused Venom to relinquish his hold on Nathan's body, throwing itself off of its hosts body. But Nathan was subdued, roaring in pain. His ears were fine, but every other bit of his body was suffering from intense pain. When Nathan and Venom separated, the residual effect of pain and suffering that Venom felt had been thrown back onto Nathan, inflicting upon him pain that he had never felt before. Continuing to roar at the top of his lungs, he rolled as the pain slowly, but surely began to subside.
Unsteadily getting to his feet, Nathan stumbled a bit, but managed to grab his multi gun. Looking up, he saw that a giant robot had been activated, and it was beginning to assault Arachnia. Looking around as well, Nathan saw that the symbiote was inert near a containment tube. Looking at Arachnia, he said “Its a spider slayer. Specifically designed to hunt and destroy Spider-Man or anyone with powers similar to his.” Changing his multi gun into a hit activating grenade launcher, he aimed it at the Spider-Slayer, which had managed to bring Arachnia down. Firing three grenades, they hit and exploded. The Spider-Slayer jerked forward, but then turned and fired off a missile towards Nathan.
Reacting quickly, Nathan hurled himself away from the missile. However, the impact and explosion from the missile threw Nathan further than he had attempted to go, and he hit the wall, gasping with pain. He felt like he had fractured his left arm. Standing up, he saw that the Spider-Slayer was motionless again. Standing up, Nathan looked around wildly for something to use to fight. Apart from the symbiote, he could only see a suit which had a small tag on it. Rushing over to, it he read the tag.
“Prototype Spider-Slayer exo-suit. Controlled by a pilot. Contains neuromuscular amplification circuitry by twenty, as well as speed, reflexes, stamina and endurance enhancers. Can only be worn for period off half an hour, due to not being fully tested.” Quickly putting the suit on, he rushed at the Spider-Slayer and launched several punches at the Slayer, and it it managed to block them, though it seemed to be struggling against this suit that had amplified Nathan's normal human attributes to low, super human levels.

Moaning from the base of the wall Erin held her head trying to get a grip on what was going on. She had just flew out of the explosion caused by the spider slayer. It took a moment to get her sorts together. But when she did Erin stood up, remembering her battle with Venom and also the slayer. She took up a stance, becoming tense, she then screamed in pain and grasped around her wrist. The fingers on her hand were missing and the muscles pulled down what was left of her wrist. If it wasn’t for her exoskeleton she would have been in several pieces. Jumping up the wall, she was in a state of disorientation and shock.
She would recover but at the moment she was very vulnerable from the two threats which she scanned the below for. She felt two of her spider limbs were also damaged and she quickly webbed them up tightly in webbing to stop the bleeping and any farther pulling on the muscles. She quickly tended to her wounds and then set her focus on the issues ahead. Where was Venom and the Spider Slayer?
Looking over there seemed to be someone fighting the spider slayer, it had to be Nathan. She recalled how she had made the two separate and it seemed to have worked. She watched as he began to combat the machine, but without Venom was Nathan powerful enough to stop it? Erin needed to find a way to help and to stop this thing or it could kill both of them and escape. She would have to pull herself together and now help her teammate, even if that meant facing his lethal alter again. Erin took a breath and jumped down behind the slayer, placed her wrist out and webbing at its legs and yanking.
“We need to stop this thin..” She said before it began firing at her and she flipped over it and darted to the side behind some crates. “Where did Osborne put the freaking off switch!”
“We have to stop it! I’m injured, I have one webber, but I think I can get this thing webbed up, if you can stop it with that suit.” She yelled as she began coating it in webbing, trying to block its sensors and trip its legs as Nathan fought it.
“Where is Venom?” She sounded distressed. That was all she needed this second, although it would have been nice to have him on her side right about now.

Nathan hadn't put the slayers suit on to have powers, or even to keep it. He had put it on just so he could rejoin the fight and help Arachnia. And he couldn't wear this suit for long. It wasn't fully tested, and it had said that it could only be worn for half an hour. So, he needed to end this soon. He felt he would be able to if he fought hard enough and used the fighting style that he had learned from the symbiote. Tensing his legs, he leapt above the Spider Slayer, punching it several times in the head as he flipped above it. The blows seemed to have a stunning effect on the Spider Slayer, as it was now staying in one place.
Landing, he grabbed his multi gun from behind him and changed it into a grenade launcher. This was one of the more powerful forms his gun could take, and he liked to use this form as it took some enemies down quickly and easily. Aiming, he fired two grenades, which exploded once they made contact with the giant Spider Slayer. And it was blasted at least two steps away from Arachnia. When she asked where Venom was, he said “I don't know. But he's disabled mostly.” Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see the symbiote. Spinning, he fired a container grenade, which hit the symbiote and contained it in a carry-able energy field. Turning to the Spider Slayer, he threw the gun down.
Leaping at the Spider-Slayer, Nathan attacked with a back flip kick, front flipping off of the robot after the kick. However, it was now active and he would have to attack more. The Spider-Slayer threw several explosive devices towards Nathan. With quick reactions, he kicked them onto the roof. They exploded, and some shrapnel fell down. Grabbing it, the young hero launched it towards the Spider-Slayer, which was hit back.
The Spider-Slayer was now attacking Nathan with a furious assault of attacks that would work against Spider-Man, as well as any spider based hero. And he was unable to defend himself really, and he was kicked backwards. Gasping as he hit the ground, he felt like he had just sprained his right ankle, the suit protecting him mostly. But he saw that there was still one grenade near him. Picking it up, he pulled the pin and hurled it towards the Spider-Slayer.

Having the suit on, Arachnia throught it best that Nathan do the face to face combat, while she jumped around trying to tie it down with webbing. It was programmed well and seemed to know all her actions, of course it had to. She webbed its scenery preceptors but it just cut the webbing off. Erin was getting frustrated with this big stupid bug and she only had one web shooter now. As Nathan attacked it, she tried to fire some trip lines to at least slow it down and stop its plows towards them. Confusing it was the best thing but her webbing wasn’t holding it long, as soon as it ripped it off it would attack Nathan.
“Jee, now I know why Spiderman hated these things, what a pain in the ass.” She said trying to string it up in the air but it just slit her web in the blink of an eye. “This thing knows its stuff. I think it’s time to think outside of the box.” As Erin rolled and jumped to avoid the explosions she noticed Nathan was hurt and he took a lasting attempt and pull the grenade and toss it towards the machine. That thing would not stay there long enough to take the damage.
She webbed the grenade, followed the line of direction he tossed it, and pulled it under the spiderslayer from behind it and pulled up, making it stick to the bottom on the machine. She then quickly began piling on the webbing all over the top and legs of the thing so it would leave that strand alone. Sure enough, it exploded and parts went everywhere. The lights in the main part went dim and she gave it a last kick as she dropped from the ceiling.
“Are you alright? Nice job.” She said putting her still intact hand out to pull him up. She looked at the black goo moving around in the container. “I seriously think you should burn that thing or something. Those aren’t something you mess with and surly not Venom, how the hell did JLA let an evil creature like Venom into its doors anyways? Oh right, he turned a new leaf, I seriously don’t buy that.” She said and suddenly webbed his hands together above his head and used her foot to pin his by the chest against the wall. She wasn't happy.
“Now that we have a moment alone, Explain it to me again.” She narrowed her eyes, she was in pain and after Vemon when on a rounds of exempts to kill her in cold blood. She wasn't letting Nathan leave with the truth or leave at all. She planned on getting the JLA down here for an immediate conference. Even if that meant fighting him, she didn't trust him or Venom to go back out there in the streets, not with that killing lust in that monsters blank eyes.
