(For Fiona/Queenpin and Erin/Arcahnia)
Fiona Fisk sat at a posh little outdoor cafe called the Perez. She had already ordered tea and sandwiches. She looked about and actually cracked a smile at the peace and calm. It was kinda of nice being alone and taking a break from her dual duties as both Fiona Fisk and the Queenpin. The tranquility continued until a mugger who had been eying her, obviously unaware of who she was, ran by and snatched her purse. Playing the innocent victim, Fiona rose and shouted to the police to catch the man.

Sipping her coffee Erin turned the page of her book and set the cup back down. She came here every so often, it was on the other side of town but she was all over the place usually, she couldn’t keep still and her certain duties pulled her all over the place. It was a quiet little place, wide open and a bit fancy and pricy but Erin didn’t mind spending a little extra for a snack and a relaxing atmosphere, in this town it was hard to get that. She had before her a gourmet pretzel, and apple and a mocha drink which she nibbled on as she read her book.
She then sensed something change suddenly in the atmosphere and her eyes caught a man as he slinked past her. She lowered her book and her eyes followed the man’s movements. ‘Okay what is this guy up too? He’s pulling at my senses.’ She thought. She watched him as he walked around the place and then he saw it. Sure enough like a predatory bird after prey the man swooped down and snatched a ladies purse right from her and ran off down through the tables and towards the gate, coming back around towards Erin.
Erin sighed; really she couldn’t even have a relaxing moment without having to save the day? Well she was involved and it would eat her up. She heard the woman cry for help. She did a slow motion eye roll and rose from her seat.
“I got this.” She said and jumped up from her seat and moved in front of the mugger. Of course she would not risk showing any spider tactics here but she could at least do something. The man moved slightly to avoid her and passed her. He gave her a look like, yea right you got this? But Erin’s hands were on the back of her chair and she took hold of it and swung it around just hard enough.
The chair smacked into the back of the man and pulled him off balance. The man tripped and slammed into the ground and rolled into the gate. He staggered up and Erin ran over to him, ready to make sure he stayed there. The man saw her and pulled a knife from his belt but before he could switch it open it flew across the path and into a water fountain as she kicked it from him. She then jumped onto him, placing her knee on his chest and her arm across his neck and placed her body over him so he couldn’t move.
“Don’t move! I’m trained to break bones buddy and you won’t be the first I’ve done it to!” She whispered pinning him down as he struggled. As if secretly having a hero there to make sure he didn’t get away, there was a police officer within a few yards which the mugger missed completely. The officer came running up to apprehend the crook. It was all over for this guy. Erin stood up and picked up the purse on the ground. She turned as she saw the woman come forward. “Miss, I think this belongs to you.” She said giving a breathy response just to make it seem like it was an effort.

Fiona eyed the crook for a second, capturing his face with a photographic memory. He was be dealt with for his stupid crime... and not by the police. She then looked at the girl who returned her purse.
"Thank you," she said. "You are well aware of who's purse you've just returned, are you not? And that you will be handsomely rewarded."

Handing the woman her property she was greeted by something odd. Apparently this woman was someone important and told her that she would be rewarded for saving it. Erin looked at the woman for a second not knowing what to say. She didn’t get excited like someone might to find out they were being rewarded. She smiled slightly.
“You’re welcome I don’t know who you are but Please, no need to give me anything. It’s my honor, I just don’t like to see people robbed or taken advantage of. And I think this guy will find a little better guidance off the streets and in jail for some time. I’m just glad I could stop him in time.” She said and though, gee I could have caught him in my sleep. “I think I may have dented their nice chair though.” She chuckled.

"I am Fiona Fisk, my dear, and I always reward those who aid me," she said. "Perhaps we can discuss this over tea and sandwiches?" Fiona smiled and motioned to offer her a seat at her table. "Why don't you make yourself comfortable and order whatever you wish. I have a quick personal call to make."

“Oh I think I have heard about you. What an interesting day we are both having. Oh, my name is Erin.” She nodded as the woman told her she was Fiona Fisk, the daughter of Wilson Fisk? She had to be kidding. Erin eyed the table she was at and agreed to join Fiona at the table. Erin picked up her things, moving them to her table and took a seat. Well she figured it couldn’t hurt to at least have a cup of coffee with the lady and she didn’t wish to be rude. She was trying to become more people savvy and maybe a friend outside of the tower was a good thing.
“I’m quite fine, well maybe a refresher on the coffee.” She said not wanting to turn down her offer flat out, after all she just saved her belongings and the guy likely would have used her credit cards, she could have lost thousands of dollars. “Sure thing.” Erin said and watch her walk away. She wondered if this was a good idea, but what could the harm be. Erin turned and saw the police car start to drive off with the robber. “Well that’s one less goon on the street.”

Once Fiona was in a private place, he got on her cell phone.
"Yes, Mistress, we saw what happened," said the voice on the other end. "We are in pursuit now."
"Good," said Fiona. "Once you've freed that scum, detain him at headquarters. I should be there after I've entertained my valiant new friend." Fiona then hung up and made her way back over to the table.
"Erin, was it?" she asked with a smile as she sat down. "It's fortunate you were around. I fear it's not the first time someone's tried to mug me."

Setting her book down, she looked at her new friend as she came back and sat up straighter. She had ordered some more coffee on Fiona, nothing much. She then took the apple and split it in half swiftly using her thumbs like she always did. Normal people just cut it or ate it whole.
“I’m sure if I wasn’t that police man surely would have gotten him. Yea and that’s what I thought after a couple run ins with people like that. And excuse the term but I don’t take shit hun. I’m not someone who likes being taking advantage of or likes to see it. Girls like us have to watch out for ourselves, you know. I hate to feel helpless. But I’m sure you have body guards for that.” She said and sipped her coffee.
“So Miss Fisk, I’m curious, what kind of roles do you play here in New York? You must be a VIP around here.” She asked knowing her father was a big influence around the city.

"Like my late father, I am primarily a philanthropist," said Fiona. "My favorite charity is the Manhattan Young Business People's League, an organization that aids up-and-comers start and thrive in their own businesses." What she didn't tell is how through this, she practically owned these young people's lives. "But I am a business woman myself. There's Fisk Labs." Which she took from one Dr. Byron Singer when he failed to invent something to wipe out an enemy of hers. "And several smaller stores and industries that I have partial or full ownership of." In a sense, Fisk, like her father, owned half of New York City. "How about yourself? You're beautiful, smart, and as you said, you don't take shit. I'm sure you've done well for yourself."

Listening to the woman as she explained what she did for a living Erin was impressed, Fiona was a powerful woman with a lot under her diamond studded belt. She took a sip of her coffee and set it down as Fiona finished with bringing Erin into the picture.
“Hmm. Seems like you are a busy bee. That honestly sounds great but exhausting. At least you’re not wondering when your next pay check or bed will be, like most people.” Erin said to her. She didn’t quite know what to say to her about her own life, it in itself was a mess; both extraordinary and traumatic. Most of the past she just wished to forget.
“Thank you, I try to stay in shape, I run every day and work out, keep an active and excited life style. I love to travel when I’m not hanging around the city. As for a career I can’t get a footing in yet. I can’t seem to keep still; the repetitiveness or something gets to me.” She said but it was really the fact that most times it was her mouth, aggressive paranoia or the fact she runs off on secret hero business.
“But it could be as you said, I don’t take doody, and being ordered around is something else I can’t stand.” She said and sighed. “But I’ll get myself right one day.“ She smiled.

"Well then," said Fiona after sipping her tea. "Maybe I can repay you by helping you get back on the right foot. I have a lot of influence in this city. Perhaps we can find you something more to your liking... and worthy of your obvious talent." Fiona then removed a business card from her purse and handed it to Erin. "Feel free to call me if you're interested."

Finishing her food and drink Erin chatted with Fiona and took the card as she offered a helping hand. Erin nodded. “I sure will, maybe we can have another lunch meeting. I’ll give you a call some time. It was nice to get to know you but I really must be going now. I got things to do. You know, kick some other crooks butt at another restaurant.” She joked and stood up.
She put her hand out to properly see the new friend off. She gave the pleasant goodbyes and left the restaurant. It was getting towards dusk and that was the wake up call to her. Vanishing into the busy street Erin made her way to her favorite spot in the area, not but two blocked from the restaurant and near by to the police station. Erin sat atop a tall building, laying across a gargoyle who’s neck stretched out seven feet and she watched the sun set over the silhouette of the city. She almost started to doze when she got a call from the tower.
“Arachnia, there is a problem at the police department just a mile from where you are, we’d like you to check it out ASAP, seems to be a break out. The details are sketchy right now but the action is still very hot, get there now.”
Erin jumped up and grabbed her bag which was hidden near her, she always had a bag containing her uniform and gear not far from her when she was in the civilian look. Dressing quickly in her black sleek uniform, her face was covered with a full mask and a large hood over her head. A red hour glass was on her midsection and her belt of gear was wrapped around her. She hopped across the top of the building trying to get her boot on and then bolting across the skyline. She would be on top of them like that.
“Let’s hope it’s not my buddy from the restaurant, I think one butt kicking would be enough. If so, this time I’m not playing nice.” She muttered to herself and webbed to the other side of the street.
“Arac to Tower. I’m arriving at the station now, I’ll keep you posted. I'm going stealth mode.” Arachnia replied and looked for anything out of the ordinary as she approached the building and creeped up it, covered by the shadow of night. Something clearly was up as she heard the screaming of tires right on the other side of the parking lot.

After she said a friendly farewell to Erin, Fiona got into her limo and it drove away. If all went well, the crook would be waiting for her when she arrived. Her men were always successful with jail breaks.
As expected, he was there at a seemingly abandoned lab in the bad part of town, far from the famous Fisk Labs. From her private control room, Fiona... no the Queenpin... addressed the crook with a disguised voice through a speaker.
"You do know who I am, don't you?" she asked the crook,
"Yeah, you're men told me," smiled the crook. "Wow, the Queenpin had me broken out of jail. You...you want me to do a job for ya? I'd be honored."
"I, the Queenpin, hire a low-rate pickpocket like you. Don't make me laugh," hissed the Queenpin. "I released you because I don't feel the New York Justice System will give you the sentence you properly deserve for what you've done."
"Wha....?" gulped the crook. "What did I do? I didn't steal anything from you... and I've never killed nobody."
"But you did try to steal something from an... associate of mine," said the Queenpin. "And when you cross those I work with, you cross me. And when you cross the Queenpin... the Queenpin deals out her brand of justice. Take him to Lab C. and prepare our new toy."
The crook trembled in fear as the Queenpin's goons dragged him away.

She was on the cars tail, literally. Arac swiped between cars and clung to the underside of the back of the car. Where ever these crooks were going she would tag along, if she could catch some action beyond these escapees then it would be better for the city to have more crooks behind bars and hopefully they stayed there. Arriving at some building she stayed motionless watching and waiting. She hadn’t even got a look at their faces until now and when she saw him, Erin’s eyes narrowed as the men and the SAME mugger she caught walked into the building.
“You got to be kidding me. You’re not getting off easy this time Mr. Mugger, your butt is getting a severe kicking. Now lets see what you are up too.” She muttered to herself as she crawled from under the car and leaped to the building. She followed in the shadows, watching them walk through the inside of the building and then found a cracked window one room over and opened it and slid in.
Right away she didn’t like the looks of the place, it reminded her too much of… home. Why was it every place she went she got chills from familiar places? Erin took to the ceiling and crawled around the corner and peeked in the partly open door. She was about to web in and give the guy it but she waited, something wasn’t right. The man was there with a couple others and they were talking to someone over a speaker. She only heard the last line.
“And when you cross the Queenpin... the Queenpin deals out her brand of justice. Take him to Lab C. and prepare our new toy."
“The Queenpin? Great.” She thought. Arachnia backed up against the corner of the ceiling and watched as they dragged the man the other way. What was going on here, she was going to have to find out. She wasn’t sure where the voice was coming from, the place was probably being watched, and so she webbed the cameras as she followed the men from up high. But if the person over the mic was aware, they would start to notice all the screens going cloudy.
Arac peeked into the door way of the laboratory they dragged him into, what in the world did they plan on doing to this man, it seemed like a regular old torture chamber, and she knew what plenty of those looked like. She started to get those old feelings and flashbacks and shook her head. She was losing her focus on reality.
“No, I have to focus. You’re not going to do this to me anymore, bastard.” She said softly to herself holding her head as she saw a flash of light and His face. Even when she believed he was dead, the Harvestman still haunted her mind. She watched as they started to tie the man and assault him.
She needed to get him out of there, but she wanted to figure out what the heck was going on first. Even if he was a two bit criminal, she could not let him be tortured to death, she wouldn’t wish that on anyone. She could already recall the wooden splints under her nails, the ripping of tendons and snapping bones, the electric shocks, the serums and most of all, the cone shell toxin.

Still hidden in her control room, the Queenpin switched on the cameras for Lab C and spoke into the microphone. Inside the lab, the crook was being strapped to a table. A large glowing gun-shaped object that looked like a death ray in one of those cheesy near-hundred year-old science fiction films was then aimed at him.
"Congratulations, my friend," said the Queenpin to the crook through the speaker. "You are the first guinea pig for the NeoGenic Recombinator 2, a highly advanced version of that created by the late Dr. Farley Stillwell. Well actually, you and a cockroach share the honor of being the first test subject. But as you will see in a moment, that technicality will hardly matter."
The machine then charged up before firing two lasers, one hitting the cockroach and the other hitting the crook. The lasers then merged the two beings together. Soon, the DNA of both began to combine, turning the crook into a human cockroach!
