Loading his quiver full of arrows, Charlie stretched slightly. He was finishing final preparations for his mission. It was a prevention mission. In San Francisco, a small, sleeper cell was going to flood the city with a lethal nerve gas that would cause seventy percent of the San Francisco population to suffer debilitating effects, with thirty of that seventy percent possibly suffering death due to the severity of the gas. And for this mission, Charlie had requested he work with his “cousin”, Pete Todd the new Red Hood. He hadn't called him in because he needed back-up, but it was because he thought bringing his cousin on a mission with him was a good chance to get Pete some experience.
Putting his domino mask on, and slipping his hood up, Charlie cracked his knuckles. His bow was collapsed onto the lower part of his back, in a specific holder for it The quiver rested above it, and he was fast enough to draw both if he needed to. Walking to the teleporter, Charlie tapped in the co-ordinations, and as he teleported, he stretched slightly. Teleporting always made him feel weird. And now he pulled out the holographic computer interface on his glove. Quickly tapping in a message for Pete, this message was to inform his cousin to meet him on the top of the Titans tower for their mission. He had teleported straight onto the roof, so all he had to do was wait a few minutes.
Stretching again, Charlie left the Charlie Drake mentality, and went straight into the mentality of Robin Hood. As Robin Hood, he was slightly more on edge and brutal, but also able to use all of his skills without being distracted by worry. His body-suit would protect him from bullets and it was resistant towards fire. “Pete, get up here soon.” He said this out loud, but he actually doubted Pete was already up here.
