This came up in c-box conversation today. Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man vs Bruce Wayne, AKA Batman.
Who takes it?

Oh dern it, I hate these conversations. But okay I guess I'll buy into this one, just because I was told to, haha.
Well I totally think Tony takes the cake. First off Tony doesn't have a no kill rule. Second of all Tony Stark has actually put away more bad guys, vs. facing the same escaped criminals for the past 60 years.
So I think Tony's probably got a little more resource/ experience under his belt. ;D

Who takes it as in what?
Normally, I'm an advocate for DC all the way, but I will admit that Anthony Stark is actually much smarter than Bruce is from a technological perspective. Obviously, not all of Bruce's equipment is at the level of Iron Man's. How else could he have made the Iron Man armor and what not? It's impressive that Tony is able to make all of these things and advance technology with arc reactors and so on. He is much better with the socialite thing and even women.
At the same time, I do argue that Bruce is much more skilled that Tony is in things like hand to hand combat, business skills, and detective skill. Bruce is, what, the second smartest man in the DC Universe and probably ranks up there if pitted against Marvel and other universes. It is also said that Bruce Wayne/Batman is one of the best martial artists (Top 8 or so), so that isn't anything to blow off either. And, if I recall, if given enough preparation time, Bruce Wayne can beat just about anyone. He's an analyzer and that works greatly to his advantage.
To be honest, I don't think you can pit the two against each other because their villains and capabilities are so different. Bruce's skill set works before for the Joker and Two-Face and Bane and so on, while Tony's skill set helps him against Mandarin and Iron Monger and so on.
And, regardless of a "kill rule" Bruce can be pushed to the point of killing someone. Actually, in his first appearance, he killed the Joker. (Not that it's terribly important with all of the DC reboots).
As for the criminals and what not, you should recall Batman does belong to the Justice League and other organizations. He fights many more people than just his Rouges Gallery, who are all uniquely insane, by the way, and evolve as Bruce and the rest of the Bat Family does.
