Bor Von Doom crossed his arms and watched as the events started to unfold before him. This was Alti's plot, he had the grand scheme but Bor had been the mastermind that put the pieces in place and orchestrated events to make everything happen. Alti would walk away with the power, but Bor was working on an alternate revenue stream for this. But then something happened, something that did not amuse Bor. The Regent of Latveria could detect something, his affinity for magic making him aware.
There was the boom of thunder and flash of lightning. "There's a spike in magic from the tower...."[/colour] then another lightning bolt, one that caused the spike to spike. A hardlight interface screen appeared over his face as Bor tried to analyze. "Alti!? What is this? I've never felt anything like it!" Von Doom was not amused, not one little bit. Then Octavius emerged, the hardlight interfaced converted itself to a magnifying screen and gave Bor a better look. "The Hammer! Alti he has that accursed Hammer! Thor knows! You told you me you could hide this you useless wretch! Stop him! He'll ruin everything!" The Von Doom turned on the spot to assess how many Doom Bots he had at his disposal, enough surely. "Doom bots, destroy him! DOOM COMMANDS IT!" Without no further need for order the Doombots altered their course, making a direct route to intercept Octavius Thorson.

Alti was paying such close attention to the portal above them that he hardly had time to notice the streaking past of lightning. It wasn't until Thunder heralded again that he looked behind him to the rooftops and saw it- Octavius Thorson returned to full power.
Alti groaned. "Bor, hold the portal, I must put this mutt in his place once more before I can complete the right." And with that Alti drew his two swords and leapt from the flying stand that was Bor's perch to meet Octavius in the air.
The two met like a winter gust meeting a summer storm, lighting flashing and energy bruning between them. Both weapons of great magical origin going to battle to sons of gods duking it out midair, it was a clash like the old days before men built shining buildings that scraped the clouds. When men roamed the earth in search of adventuring telling stories of how Thor wrestled Jomungandr and how Loki tricked giants and won magical prizes. The sons of these two gods now clashed with the heat of battle boiling their blood. "It is to late for this city son of Thor, you have lost, now bow out gracefully!" Alti said blocking Octavius' mighty hammer.

Octavius Thorson felt the wind in his face as he soared down from the towering roof. Imitations of the Doom flew at him but with a swing of his hammer lightning clawed from the sky and sent them as burning wrecks to the floor, his path was unbarred by the first wave and he came face to face with his foul cousin.
Alti made the fatal mistake of trying to intercept his proud Octavius, for while as a mortal Alti could manhandle him in strength of arms the difference between the God Octavius and Alti was far greater then the difference between Alti and mortal Octavius. With one swing of mighty Mjolnir the Thorson struck his cousin straight on the chest, but he would not allow him such an easy escape as to be carried away by the force of the blow.
Octavius released his grip upon the hammer put only so that he may reach out and take his cousin by the throat as they fell. The hammer's unbreakable leather thong now bound around Octavius's wrist it was surely at his side! With his cousin in his grip Octavius broght up his other arm which clenched his mystic axe. It did not cleave his cousin in twain however! But instead used the fist tha held the axe to start pounding upon his brothers face. Each blow released the boom of thunder for it struck with such force.
Down and down they plummeted, Octavius returned the thrashing his cousin had dealt unto him. "Have at thee cur!" he roared through screaming winds as they fell the final dozen floors height of the building Octavius had jumped from, all the while pummeling Alti with his mighty strikes to his hideous face.
As the landing was imminent Octavius released his grip, but only so that he might place one foot to his cousins chest and drive down as they hit the floor. There was a mighty crash as Alti's struck the road leading straight to the skyscraper Octavius had jumped from, a road now shattered by the crater from their landing. Octavius stood tall, one foot upon Alti's chest and both weapons held up again. After the dust settled he stepped back, but his gaze was fixed firmly upon Alti. "Stay down cousin....or I shall put you down again!"

Alti had taken such a beating as they fell, and the speed and force for which Octavius has beaten him down had given him little or no chance to return a blow. The young god was broken and bleeding on the concrete, but he would not let Octavius detain him. He knew now a fight would not be imminent. It would take Bor and his two siblings to keep Octavius down while he finished the right.
"Bor!" Alti shouted pushing Octavius leg off of him with great effort of strength. "I leave Serbia to your right of rule, the Jottuns will aid me against this fould monster." Alti now raised his sword, the dimension splitting blade given to him by his mother when he'd first left all those years ago on his travels. "Know this Octavius, you might have stopped me this time, but I bring the force of Jotunheim against you upon our next meeting." With that Alti leaped into the air, clumsily bouncing off of buildings, until he reached Bor's stand and from there he leaped skyward into Jotunheim and sealed the portal behind him.
It wasn't a glorious fight he'd had, but he now knew the strength in which he'd need to defeat Octavius, next time they met. But for now Alti faced the bleak Tundra of Jotunheim, it was a long march back to the hall of his Father to lick his wounds and plan for his next attack.
