So its been a bit slower ever since around fall, we all seem to fall into the "I'm busy with the Holidays" "I have work" "I have school" "Or I have no motivation." But we all love this place and want to find some time to have fun and dig through some exciting threads, right? So let’s come up with some ideas to help each other site wise and work on those weak points that drag us down. Maybe we can pinpoint and work on a few things.
[glow=red,2,300](Lack of communication)[/glow]
Good communication is key to keeping a thread flowing. Sending a PM to the other player(s) when you have posted or to alert them of their turn is the best way.
[glow=red,2,300](Activity and Dedication)[/glow]
Do I have time to start and finish this thread? If you don't have time to play don't start a thread and then murder it midway in. If you start or join a thread you are responsible for it. If something comes up, use the MIA section and report back when you are back.
[glow=red,2,300](Where am I?)[/glow]
What thread was I in again? Everyone has at least two to six characters and multiple threads for each. Keeping track of the threads you are in will help it from getting lost under all the other threads. Also if that’s an issue try limiting the amount of threads you join at one time frame.
[glow=red,2,300](Ideas.)[/glow]
They are great but sometimes ideas are too big; they don’t get put into action or slow things down more. Work small when things are slow and then work up for big events even activity is flaring.
[glow=red,2,300](Think long term)[/glow]
Each thread your character is in will help develop them later. And also the terms of your participation will determine if others want to role-play with you.
Anyone else have a point of view for this? What can we do to help spark this place up?
