Once again he hopped up into the air and allowed his wings to carry him in a light hover above the ground. James recollected their conversation earlier that morning in regard to their date, which was currently underway, and it didn't seem to be starting off too well. He elected that they go to The Boston Lobster Feast, thinking it was in Boston, as he didn't tend to get out much from his office or the well furnished and supplied lab in the Tower.
James flew, deep in thought, pondering the few remaining mysteries lying in wait for him in his studies of Clank. The silver scarab he had been studying for several years now had shown some remarkable data that he still had yet to go over with Dr. Strange's son. It appeared there were some traces of magic tied in with his latest discovery and he wanted to get some more information from the team's expert in sorcery.
It was saddening, he began to realize that having or initiating a relationship at this juncture in his findings could pose as a distraction. He would have to tell her, Jamie, surely she would understand, right? He couldn't lead her on. She was his teammate, and knew of his long absences when he was studying Clank, but he had to ask. It was only fair.
