((This is not only a requested upgrade for myself, but also to show all you folks how we want it done. )) Character Name: Octavius Thorson Area Affected: Magic Axe Current ability: N/A new power The Update: Knowing his son would need to travel all of Midgard and on occasion return to Asgard, Thor has enchanted Octavius's axe to teleport in a manner identical to what Mjolnir allows him to do. Back-up: IC Explanation: Thor puts another enchantment on his axe. Sample: Octavius ran a hand through his hair before taking a deep breath. His head tilted to either side, on one side was Stephanie, proud and talented. To his other side was Ms. Wayne, as proud and talented in her own ways. When the Godling's eyes fell across a clock he realized the time. "Ee gads! The time, I am expected in Asgard!" With that in mind the Themysciran Prince of Asgard jumped his bed and made quick work to put on some pants and what other attires he would be needing for the day. "I must return to my homeland at once, but first I must get to Italy so that I might retrieve that gift for my mother!" Taking up his enchanted axe Octavius slammed its hilt against the ground. There was a flash of lightning and suddenly, he was there no more! Across the world he was throne until eventually the dark haired Asgardian found himself in Italy, where he had met a painter who offered him a wonder to the eyes. A portrait of the family!

The Update:
Survivalist. The following skills are or have been acquired:
Erin has been trained in emergency medical training; allowing her to assess her or people’s injuries and treat them accordingly. She has gain more skill in hunting; being able to track down and kill an animal as well as prepare it and cook it properly. She’s been trained in gathering plants and various foods and knows what is edible, poisonous and the uses of different things. She also learned what type of materials can be used for different tasks, such as making a shelter or what material is best for fire or insulation.
Tracking animals and people and also covering her trail was taught to her; Erin is able to read the signs and cover her ass well. She was instructed on how to make tools; such as water containers, bow and spears. She was taught how to make fire from sticks and rocks as well as different types of pits. She studied in the arts of self-defense and ambushing; both from enemies and animals. Erin learned how to be self-sufficiency in the wild; not relying on anything or anyone to help her.
Structure building is another thing she learned to do; she is able to make different types of sleeping and hiding places for different terrains and climates. Trapping is also a skill learned; she learned how to set traps for enemies; such as snares and signal trips. She was trained in survival retreat; sometimes weather or enemies are too much, so she knows how to pace for a quick retreat. And of course she was skilled in basic outdoor training and common sense so that she didn’t mess up on some tiny detail. Over all she is well adapted in surviving on her own.

When she joined the JLA she enrolled in classes and is currently working on her full degree. She is a fast learner and her previous skills and her senses assist her training well. Her grades are well and she exceeded highly in the different types of skills. She is capable of co-training others, such as the Teen titans in survivalism.
Sample: It was happening again and she hated it. The paranoid to get the hell out of here. She had contact with the team but she wouldn’t be around the building. Erin needed to get away as she did often. Mostly away from people but also because she never left safe for too long. She was here about 45 miles from the city in the heart of Pennsylvania’s forests. She already had a shelter for the night, hung up in a threesome of pine trees. From the ground one couldn’t tell there was a nest there.
There was the violate fluttering of the animal but she held it down tightly. Soon the turkey fell limp and she put the knife to its neck. She didn’t enjoy seeing the blood shoot off into the ground but it was eat or go hungry. Erin quickly defeathered and gutted the bird and discarded of the remands under a pile of dead lumber. She washed her arms in the near by stream hanging from a tree limb so her shoes would not make prints in the mud. Many of the people who were after her were skilled at tracking and she didn’t want to leave an open invitation.
Returning to her base camp, a mile away from her nest, Erin set up the bird over fire. She shoved some wild edible roots she had dug up earlier. Erin sat down and pulled out her container of water behind some rocks and took a guzzle of water. She had gathered berries and some crab apples earlier and delighted in those along with some jerky made for rabbit as she waited for her dinner to cook. It would be a long cold rainy night so she had to get a good hot meal and rested.

You'll need to fill it out properly. The update section is just what we're putting into the skills section of your app, we're obviously not going to paste all that. Just the information you have in the last three lines, but it'll need to be properly explained what she has.
Also, she can't have 10 years experience, because you haven't been playing her for ten years, and if she had the skills before you started playing her on this site, then she'd already have them. Updates are for powers & skills picked up as the game is going on.

Current ability: Peak level fitness: While possesses enhanced dexterity and agility by his mutancy, regular intense excersize has given Claude the strength, endurance, reflexes and durability at the maximum level a "human" can achieve.
The Update: Claude has purchased various implants from the current Power Broker. These implants include a Hypertrophy Accelerator which grants him minor (5 ton) super strength and matching durability, an Optics Enhancer to improve his vision (doubling how far he can see, and improving his ability to adapt to darkness), a Nociception Regulator allowing him to function at peak efficiency for a full day before fatigue kicks in, a Logic Co-Processor to improve his reaction speed and thought speed and lastly a Monocyte Breeder granting a healing factor the equivalent to the likes of Spider Man.

He was surrounded, there was two dozen of them. Decently armed for traditional soldiers, but really...meta-humans made them quite pointless. As he was about to prove. The Cajun moved with shocking speed, they had difficulty tracking him for a moment. Katana in one hand and a pistol in the other he went about his bloody busy, a dervish of red mist as he ended lives. His new abilities allowed him to bring up his price too. As a meta-human he was even more capable.
The implants went about their work, keeping his body performing at its new rate. It was a strange sensation, the world was different around him. He could see bullets, he didn't just estimate the most likely firing line and move to avoid, he could see them travelling and dodge. It made the whole thing quite unfair.

Character Name: Vincent Stark Area Affected: Iron Man Armor Current ability: The Update: (Not an update but an Add on.) Thor Buster Mark III While containing all of the same vital stats as the original armor the TBM3 has updated in the fact that it has a strength boost specifically designed to take on the Asgardian physique. These upgrades include: New Power Source This new power source given to the Stark family by an anonymous donation has been rigorously tested and been identified as an Asgardian Mystic Stone. This stone can create a powerful shield, create life support systems and even allow flight and add an extra 20% of strength to the Iron Man armor. Ablilty to withstand melee attacks from mythical weapons at close range up to about 200 tons of pressure. This is achieved by the upgraded power source, by funneling the mystical energy to the surface of the armor to create a shield against mystical weapons. While in theory the magic stone can not be drained it can how ever be over powered by other magics and said shield can be disrupted causing the shield to break. Type X Repulsers These near perfected form of the original Iron Man's Type X Repulsers are capable of boosting punches, repulser blasts at a 15%- 30% increase of their normal rates. Because even after 30 years the Type X Repulsers are still not entirely perfected the effect it gives normal punches and repulser blasts starts off at the lowest magnification and builds up to the 30% increase. If said blast, or punch is ceased for more than one hour the warm up process has to begin again. Melee Weapons Due to the nature of needing this armor Vincent felt it would be best if the armor was equipped with a carbon enforced steel blade in the gauntlet as a last ditch effort weapon, this is a spring released weapon only accessible via the armor wearers technopathy. Also while wearing this Armor Iron Man wields a large sword made of admantium and protected by shards of the original Asgardian Stone used by Tony in the Thor Buster Mark I. Skills UpdatedSwordsman ship because of the need of the new sword on the new armor Vincent has tirelessly taken up sword fighting in the traditional european style. Due to her dedication and previous knowledge of fencing from private school Vincent is very close to reaching mastery but still has a lot to learn. Back-up: He told us to do whaaaat?IC Explanation: After being summoned by Shield to talk down Octavius after he took out Scandinavia and exiled the UN and Shield Vincent realized that Octavius would consider this a threat to his new reign and in the interest of protecting 'his people' he would attempt to forcibly remove his old comrade from the country. Knowing that what Octavius was doing was illegal and that by Law Iron Man would have to challenge any meta human who took over multiple countries by force Vincent built the armor to even out the playing field and lower civilian casualties. Sample: (fictional battle with Octavius) Iron Man stood his ground as Octavius charged. "I'm asking one last time, stand down or face arrest under the ordinances of the geneva convention and the bylaws of the Justice League of Avengers." The booming metallic voice carried across the field. There was no way they could pin this on Iron Man sweeping in and just starting something with the godling. Octavius didn't yield, of course he wouldn't, he thought he had all right to be here and as he had raised his axe to in charging Iron Man let the godling have the first punch remember some quote by Ghandi " If any blood be spilt let it be ours." Weird time to think of that. As the axe that would normally crumple the armor like a soda can connected with the shoulder guard a crackle followed by a gorgeous array of sparks exploded from around the Blade. "I hope you like the new shield. It may make this fight last a little longer." Iron Man said drawing back to drive a punch into the godlings stomach.

Character Name: Sorin Von Doom - Nox Area Affected: Magic Arts/Sorcery Current ability: Magic Arts: Sorin has natuarl inherited magic from his mother, allowing him to manipulate Asgardian magics, and does so to project himself astrally, levitation, enchant mundane objects and create illusions. He was also taught of his mother's signature magical feats, such as the "Hand of Glory" which is a technique that uses mystical energy to enhance the strength of his punch to kill even an Asgardian. He is also capable of flaying the skin from even the toughest of Asgardians by means of powerful fire bolts of energy, and can engage in the use of his mother's ability, the "Touch of Death", which can kill a healthy human or even Asgardian with a single touch. Spending so much time with his mother in his youth as well as visits more frequent than his other siblings, Sorin has become very knowledgeable in the Contagion of Disease. He possesses the ability to conjure plagues of diseases (both Earthly and Unearthly), as well as carrion swarms of plagues similar to ancient parchment descriptions in Ancient Egypt. His signature carrion swarm is the black scarab, which upon contact instantly start to decay the flesh, before they burrow under the skin and travel to the target's brain, where the devour it. Other plagues of carrion swarms include locusts, fleas, rats and bats. The Update: To be added in addition under Magic Arts: [/u]: Through extensive research and practice, as well as complex tests and rituals, Sorin has gained the favour of the Mythos, a pantheon of Gods consisting of the three Many-Angled Ones and their three gods, the Outer Gods. The Outer Gods came to being out of the corruption of all Gods in existence. Since a God is of purity in body, mind and spirit, the corruption and evil that dwelled within took form and shape, amassing into three beings, known as Azotharoth, the Blind God, Yogg-Sokkot, the Beyond One, and Shuma-Gorath, the Crawling Chaos. The Many-Angled Ones are a race of primordial cosmic entities that inhabit the spaces between realities, legend has it that they are "memory-echoes" of the nightmares that plagued the first Daemons Their name is derived from the methods they use to fill and consume the realities they manage to enter and take control of, which requires that they readjust the so-called etheric angles of harmony and rewrite the base code of reality to suit their needs. Their powers have grown so vast that they have been patroned in an alternate universe as Gods. They consist of Cthuhlu, the Lurker Below, Kthl, the Vengeful Nightmare, and Nigguraab, Lord of the Abyss. By receiving the favour of each of these, Sorin has been empowered with the following: - Anger of Azotharoth – Empowered by the anger of the Blind God, Azotharoth empowers Sorin with the ability to see the faults with his opponents as Azotharoth has found fault with the Gods. Sorin eyes now flow with mystical energies, allowing him to see the weaknesses of others. It does, however, render him functionally blind in reality, as anger too blinded Azotharoth. Any opponent with an inherited blood-line of magic, or someone who is practised in magic can be seen with clarity, but others he cannot see. Just as the powers of the Gods remain as a permanent fixture until they deem otherwise, so too does the debilitating side effects that they carry.
- Sagacity of Yogg-Sakkot – With the blessing of the Beyond One, Yogg-Sakkot empowers Sorin with two mystical globes of quintessential power, tied directly to the God itself. Unseen to the naked eye, the globe is a sheer force of mystical energy, and orbit Sorin in a symmetrical pattern. Being of the Beyond One, this blessing absorbs a large amount of an assault Sorin from the first attack an opponent makes on Sorin, be it ranged or melee. The globes return an hour after being expunged, but can be requested, though at a cost; usually a sacrifice at a later stage, or the unearthing of lost artefacts of the God. The globes can absorb a combined total of 80 tonnes, though if an attack will do less than 40 tonnes, only one globe will be consumed.
- Growth of Shuma-Gorath – Cursed as some would say by the Crawling Chaos, Shuma-Gorath empowers Sorin with a new school of magic, otherwise known as Chaos Magic. Not to be compared with other forms of Chaos Magic, Shuma-Gorath’s school stems from raw chaos, that of the corruption of the multi-verse. The school’s principle design is built around the assimilation and countering of their opponents attacks, often leaving them to face the chaos of themselves or what they hoped to achieve in their manifested selves. Such magic creates clones of identical power, counters spells, and reverts spells back at opponents with detrimental side effects should they attempt to counter. Given that the power source and raw corruption that this school of magic stems from, prolonged use of such magic can result in dire physical, mental and emotional side effects with the potential end result of Sorin falling into chaos itself, becoming absorbed by the very source.
- Call of Cthulhu – With the approval of the Lurker Below, Cthulhu empowers Sorin with an increased source of magic to hone his necromancy skills. Sorin can now willingly summon and control the Faceless Ones, which are vaguely humanoid creatures who, as the name implies, have no discernible faces insofar as other races recognize them. The Faceless Ones are an underwater green-skinned race with pointed ears, webbed hands and feet, vestigial wings, and no facial features. Averaging 3' tall and 90 Ibs., they are savage, relentless fighters who wear down opponents through sheer force of numbers. Furthermore, with greater clarity and the right setting, he can summon large tentacles from the sea similar to that of the dreaded mythological Kraken, supposedly an avatar of Cthulhu itself. The tentacles could drag vessels to the bottom of the ocean with ease, and its tentacles are both numerous and varied in size and strength.
- Knowledge of Kthl – Envisioned by the Vengeful Nightmare, Kthl empowers Sorin with an increased source of magic to hone his illusionary skills. Sorin’s illusions now each individually envelop a telepathic link to them, attaching to any subject that sees, hears or smells the illusion. It increases the power of Sorin’s illusions five-fold, making them incredibly difficult to decipher as to what’s real and what’s an illusion. It also empowers Sorin’s own ability to cover and heal his wounds, though his return to Hel to recharge and heal is still necessary.
- Nightmare of Nigguraab – Exalted by the Lord of the Abyss, Nigguraab empowers Sorin with a raw increase in all his magical capabilities. Aside from other blessings, Sorin’s own magic has become an astute formation of the abyss, a nether realm parallel to reality. As a result, his magical prowess has now doubled, increasing all previous spells he could cast twice fold. Furthermore, Nigguraab has granted Sorin with the rightful ownership of the Necronicom, a book of mystical spells tied to the Many-Angled Ones (some rumoured to even be written by the Gods themselves). At his word, Sorin can summon the tome to his hands from seemingly anywhere. Originally belonging to Abdul Alhazred, he foolish proclaimed that he was author and sought his own goals, unknown to him that he was to be the first champion of the Mythos, but failed to see his visions as anything more than corrupt nightmares. The grimoire now lies in possessions unknown, though not rightfully.

The Gods, both Outer and Many-Angled, have set Sorin on a voyage; a goal to achieve as such. Admiring his own goals and allowing them to be kept at hand, it is as duty of the Champion of the Mythos to uncover a means to return the Gods to the physical world. This is now Sorin’s pen-ultimate goal, and refusing to complete such a goal, or putting his own goals above the Gods without valid reason will result in the removal of said powers until he gains favour again. Sorin’s goal as such is to now host a new dimension for these gods to feed off of and be worshipped on as the one and only deity of note. While all dimensions have minute cults and followings, they have destined Sorin as their champion given his magical capabilities. Note: As a result of Sorin now drawing his energies from the pantheon, I would like the following weaknesses added due to his encounter with Azotharoth and his curse from Nigguraab: [/u]: As a result of the power bestowed up him by Azotharoth, Sorin is now permanently and functionally blind in reality. He has a certain degree of sight [see The Mythos], but in terms of any average sight, he possesses none. What’s worth nothing is that it’s magically blocked also. No spell to allow sight will work and continuous effort in trying to regain sight may put him out of favour of the Gods. The Abyssal Curse: Given that Nigguraab effectively doubles the current magic that Sorin has, it also forces him to recharge more often. His time on Midgard when engaged in active magic using is effectively halved, which can often force Sorin to exit at an inappropriate time. Also, Serina’s Healing Factor will not fully recharge him, so regardless of her efforts, he will need to return to Hel more often than his siblings. [/ul][/ul] Back-up: Searching Among The Stars, which involves Sorin gaining the favour of Azotharoth and Nigguraab. Other threads include The End of a Beginning where the end result will be Sorin gaining the favour of Yogg-Sokkot and Cthuhlu, and Wgah'nagl Fhtagn (To Wait Dreaming), where the end result will be Sorin gaining favour with Shuma-Gorath and Kthl. There is also hints of him feeling an enlightenment, as if being meddled by otherworldly sources, which is evident in Hel Hath No Fury... and ... Like A Woman’s Scorn. - Note: All these threads are now complete.
IC Explanation: Through the current threads that I have ongoing, I will have Sorin become blind in the upcoming thread with Anneliese. After seeking refuge with his mother in Hel, she will cower at what he invoked, and sends him on his path to become sanctified by the pantheon, possibly with Serina helping him get there due to his imminent blindness. Sample: Nox floated, elevated among the waves of the relentless ocean. Several destroyer cruisers aimed at the being, his blindness but a tether in the works of things to come. The commander of the cruisers poised with great uncertainty, overlooking the carnage he left in its wake. Boston was such a peaceful place, of bliss; of harmony. Now a wreckage of Nox’s wrath, the lives of millions sacrificed to appease his gods, and himself. As the heavy turret fire soared at Nox, a grin crept across his face. The bullets were ricocheted, some absorbed, by the Saracity of Yogg-Sakkot, a blessing he was all too thankful for. As the commander stood fixated at what had transpired before him, Nox roared back “ Now it’s my turn![/b]” Without a mutter or a movement, large tentacles thundered from the surface of the ocean, easily in their hundreds. Character Name: Octavius Thorson
Area Affected: Powers/Equipment
Current ability: Octavius is biologically quarter Asgardian, quarter Elder God and half Themysciran, this grants him physical ability & superhuman attributes far beyond the norm of a human and even members of his parent races, and the Asgardians and Themyscirans. His durability, speed, endurance, reflexes, agility, senses, lifespan, self sustenance, immunities to toxins, illnesses and healing factor is in the league of his parents. His raw physical strength however, is in fact superior to both. Octavius, being a Norse God, is the deity of strength, granting him a limitless supply of strength. Like all other Asgardians, he is capable of entering a rage that amplifies his strength tenfold, this is however, a rare event.
Earth Control: As the Grandson of Gaea the Earth Goddess, like his Father he has the ability to control the Earth, capable of performing feats such as moving the ground, creating vast chasms.
Empathy: Like his Mother Diana, he has a blessing from Athena that grants him great insight, it also provides him with an immunity to illusions and attempts at mind control, even against people of very high level.
The Update: Powers: Octavius is currently depowered to the point of being mortal. Although bearing the ability of a peak human who engages in regular intense exercise (which he now does) he is for all intents and purposes a mortal human.
Hero Attire: Having been reduced in power, Octavius now wears a different attire to allow for greater mobility. His current attire is now entirely Themysciran, as opposed to his previous mainly Asgardian attire, it consists of a golden helmet, chestplate, greaves, chain skirt and sandals. He also wears of course, his unbreakable bracers. The suit of armour is made from Themysciran metal like materials that are far tougher Earth materials (providing much more protection then kevlar and other typical protective materials) and of easily manageable weight.

IC Explanation: Octavius has already lost his powers after they were removed by his dear old daddy, everything is else is just obtained (or sneakily left for him by mumsy to help his get together)
Sample: The sun's rays bounced from the helm now worn atop Octavius's head, his eyes were focused as he concentrated all the harder then would be needed in previous times. Without his godly senses the mortal realm was a place needing his attention greater, for details which once would have been apparent as the swelling bosoms of a maiden most fair were now easy to move under the eye without detection. One hand gripped most firmly the strap of his shield, held close to chest, while his other held his axe. It had never failed him, and he knew it never would.
Nimble legs carried him swiftly like the wind as he travered atop the cars, many an individual was annoyed that one of such stature had laid heavy foot upon their motorized transport and risked damage to its frame, but there was evil afoot and Octavius needed to apply his heroic trade, be he with power or not! With steel in hand and fire in his heart he charged on, ready to tackle threat and foe like old friends!

Character Name: Serina Von Doom (Valdis) Area Affected: Mystic Arts Current ability: Learning from her father, Serina took a particular keen interest in the mystic arts. This power allows her to use anything from simple spells, like changing her clothing, to creating a weapon to defend herself with. Serina though, due to her laziness, generally performs small magics, therefore is not a developed enough scorer to create anything bigger, or more dangerous than a sword, crossbow, etc. She's more into mundane things. Serina also has magic in her blood via her mother, this allows her give life to inanimate objects such as pens and chairs. She can perform astral projection and create illusions that can fool entire crowds. The Update: Learning from her father, Serina took a particular keen interest in the mystic arts. This power allows her to use anything from simple spells, like changing her clothing, to creating a weapon to defend herself with. Serina though has a particular interest in forcefields. This allows her to create a mystical shield, about fifty feet in diameter and is durable enough to block a Asgardian body being thrown into it. It can withstand magical Asgardian blasts as well. The forcefield will stay up as long as Serina wills it to, thought she must be able to concentrate upon it. She can also create eldrtitch blasts that contain about as much force as five U.S. military issued grenades. She can fire off about five at a time before needing to gather her energy and focus again. Serina also has magic in her blood via her mother, this allows her give life to inanimate objects such as pens and chairs as well as cars. She can perform astral projection and create illusions that can fool entire crowds. She prefers to use conjuration as her main go to magic, summoning a sword to her hand or other means of offense/defense. WeaknessWith these eldritch blasts, also comes a lot of energy leaving Serina's body at one time. After five blasts, Serina becomes slightly affected by the drain. Slightly tired, she is still able to teleport away. After about fifteen blasts, she is practically useless. Her forcefield power needs a strong level of concentration. She is still able to view her opponent, though any fast movements or attack thoughts, will generally bring down her shields. Back-up: Well...I don't think I have any threads with theses powers in them. I though we kinda had to wait until they were approved before doing so...but I think perhaps training Serina was mentioned in previous threads w/ Sorin: Like a Woman Scorned I also have her 'studying' for a brief second in this one: A declaration of warAnd this is what is going to lead up to her new extremeness power. Basically, spend time in Hel and Hela is going to practically 'whip her into shape': Open your eyesIC Explanation: This will come about while Sorin is training Serina. She is fueled with his magic via the phylactery as well as the babe in her tummy. It starts with him expanding her force field powers to protect her womb. From there he works on her conjuration, with a few fighting techniques and wraps up with eldritch blast techniques. Also fueling this recharge in Serina is her sacrifice in place of Sorin to Hel, before Hela herself. Serina is basically forced to become stronger or Hela will 'dis-own' her. From fight, and love, Serina is forcing herself to become stronger, more fluent in the magical realm. Sample: Valdis narrowed her eyes as the dark figured heroine made her way towards her. Smiling slightly, she stepped on the narrow ledge of the tall Gotham City Press building. Giving a low whistle to catch the Bat's attention, Valdis noted with glee as the woman came nearer. Stepping off of the ledge and onto the building's roof, she noted with pleasure at their large battlefield space. The more room to wipe the floor with this creature of the night. This woman had to learn that she was not invincible. That being a true heroine had it's drawbacks. As the black clad figure approached nearer, Valdis opened her palm and a blast of energy flew forth from her hand, quickly headed towards the Bat. Cursing to herself as it missed, she was greeted by the pleasant sound of destruction as her blast hit a nearby building, blowing the corner off of it. Chunks of concrete few around as she summoned a yet another two blasts of energy at the woman. Each one missing by a hair. The woman was faster than she anticipated. It was all right. Serina could be fast too. Stepping forward, Valdis, aimed her sights on the Bat again, eyes narrowing in the cold wind. Clawing her hand, she delivered another blast, quickly followed by a forcefield being thrown up just in time to deflect the oncoming weapon being hurled at her.
